The access to the the water area was strewn with rotting wood, an old tire and broken glass. Swimmable water is only accessible 20m past marshy water so we had to search out a public beach in Orillia which is a 30 minute drive away. There is a busy road between the house and lake. „Such an amazing week. Thanks to Tanya, our attentive and helpful host, my two kids (and our lab!) and I enjoyed our time. The cottage is well appointed, clean, pet friendly, with rooms accommodate everyone and a gorgeous outdoor space. „The lake was beautiful, had an easy entryway for the younger children, plenty of sand to play in and good swimming conditions. The cottage was in good shape, able to accommodate our large group (12+) and had enough space. The cottage could have used a deeper clean before our arrival and adding linens to the amenities would go a long way.“

„It has everything one could need - it is just small - nothing deceptive about the online description at all. Quiet with a truly lovely road across the street that I walked down at least three times every day I was there with the dogs - never did see a house - met a nice fellow on a bicycle and two cars, both of which stopped while I leashed the dogs. Owner is wonderful.“

„Our host was very flexible, responsive and nice. The property was beautiful. One neighbour was SO close, it felt a bit like a compound. But the neighbours were not bothering us at all. „Very clean and quiet, which is exactly what we were looking for. Had a really great time with our friends. Would definitely recommend for a simple and very quiet getaway! „The house is huge - the furniture is quite shabby - couches on blocks of wood. Beds are falling apart. Only sheets provided not a single blanket in the house and only a couple of towels.
