Awesome Place
Cory&Bruce were absolutely amazing. The house was very clean and had anything that you could need even for small children.We were welcomed with fresh eggs and amazing muffins. The house is in a perfect location if you’re there for the National Parks.Words can’t describe how much fun this place was for my kids. We loved every minute of it.

Carlsbad Caverns Getaway
When we first pulled up to the property we were impressed by how nice it looked. The inside was completely warm and welcoming with so many personal touches by the hosts, from the best blueberry muffins and fresh eggs waiting for you to the specially folded towels in the bedrooms. The host went above and beyond providing for and anticipating their guests needs. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

Great place to stay!
My family I stayed here during a vacation to Carlsbad Caverns NP, White Sands NP, and Guadalupe Mountains NP. We were greeted with fresh muffins and eggs from the hosts’ chickens. It was very clean and organized. Everything we could possibly need was provided including walking sticks, a backpack, sleds and wax for the dunes at White Sands, and an ice chest. For those with kids, there was a high chair and a pack play. There was a closet full of both indoor and outdoor games that we thoroughly enjoyed. There was a great outdoor space for the kids to play and for the adults to enjoy also. Plenty of space for a large family. No complaints here! Would highly recommend.

Great stay. Highly recommend.
This place was like a home away from home. The owners have a very slick check-in process and everything was as promised. My only comment is that we were there to hike in Guadalupe Mountains NP and it was about a one hour drive to the trailheads (40 min to Carlsbad Caverns NP).

Desert oasis stay
Wonderful property in a great location. Easy access into Carlsbad and to sites we were interested in, including the caverns, Guadalupe Mountains NP and Roswell. Arrived to farm fresh eggs and muffins. The house is set up perfectly for families with a lot of extras, sleds for white sands, cooler, a mini market ( truly a great idea for guests who may have forgotten or lost items) game closet and much more. I really enjoyed the reading material on local birds and plants. It was so nice to get to a spacious, comfortable home after camping in Big bend for 3 days! Highly recommend.

This is a nice property outside of the bustle of Carlsbad. It’s a good midpoint for area National Parks and Roswell itineraries. The hosts go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable and accommodate your needs. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Perfect Base for Exploring Carlsbad
This house was perfect for me and my family. The house was beautiful and clean. There were even fresh muffins and eggs in the fridge when we arrived. It's very conveniently located close to Carlsbad, but far enough away that you have some privacy. It was the perfect base for us to explore the National Parks in this area.

Where do I begin…
This property is the next best thing to having access to your home, while on vacation! Cory and Bruce have thought of everything, and then some! The house and property are exactly as described. The amenities are over the top and better than any hotel can offer. From the well designed fire pit, to the variety of books and games, to outdoor seating complete with birds and chimes, there truly is something for everyone’s enjoyment! Of course, no review of this property is complete without a shoutout to those blueberry muffins, worth staying the weekend for, by themselves! 10 out of 10 highly recommend & would happily stay again!

Fantastic!
This is the best VRBO experience we’ve had! Cory was very responsive and has an eye for the details. As many reviews referenced, she left us welcome muffins, gifts for the kids, and eggs from their hens. The house is just outside of Carlsbad and an east 45 minute ride to the caverns. It’s about 2.5 hours to White Sands. The hosts provide sleds and coolers to borrow for the day trip. The kitchen is very well stocked with any and everything you’d need for a trip away from home. They even have an ice cream scoop! A big bonus is the “honor” pantry. We didn’t use it, but they offer amenities for $, in case you’ve forgotten something (toothbrushes, deodorant, etc…) Communication was easy with the hosts via the app, and they were kind enough to accommodate a change in our stay at the last minute. All in all, we would happily stay here again, if ever we are in the area again.

Carlsbad Cavern Adventure
This was the perfect property for our cavern trip. Clean, private, and quiet. It is located a little bit outside of Carlsbad and about 45 minutes from the caverns, but an easy drive on the loop around town. There is also the Living Desert Zoo within 5 minutes of the property, which we also enjoyed visiting. Bruce and Cory were the perfect hosts. They left gift bags for the kids, blueberry muffins and fresh eggs. There was a gem and rock show at the Living Desert, which they invited us to attend. The kids especially enjoyed this and the swing, hammock and massage chair at the house. We thoroughly enjoyed our time. If we ever plan another trip nearby, we will definitely stay here again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Felt right at home.
Where do I start. The location is great, the neighborhood is quiet, the views/scenery is breathtaking. The house is well maintained, clean, and cozy. The hosts have thought of absolutely everything. They went above and beyond making my children feel welcomed by providing each of them with a welcome bag containing a few goodies. The fresh eggs and blueberry muffins were a great touch and delicious. Highly recommending this place to anyone staying or passing through Carlsbad. You won’t be disappointed.

This house was great. Clean, all the needed kitchen gizmos for cooking and grilling out. It even had an commissary. Fantastic stay!
This was a great base of operations for a group of 5 guys that turned 50 this year wanting to get a bucket list item checked off and hike Guadalupe peak. The house was a perfect size and the fire pit area was a great bonus to sit outside and relax. The hospitality and thoughtfulness Cory and Bruce showed by making the special additions to our stay really put this in a league of its own. Thanks yall!

I have rented VRBO listings for dozens of stays throughout the United States and several stays in Europe. In all my travels these owners in Carlsbad were the most thoughtful host and hostess I’ve ever encountered in terms of little things they provided that made one feel welcome and appreciated. As an example, there were fresh baked muffins awaiting us as well as fresh gathered eggs. The property was accurately described and spotless. I highly recommend this property for anyone visiting the Carlsbad, New Mexico area.

This amazing house created the perfect, quiet getaway for my family. It had enough rooms for everyone to have their own private space and the living area was big enough for all 6 of us to enjoy. 10 stars! We’ve stayed at a lot of VRBOs and Cory and Bruce are by far the best hosts! The house is perfectly clean and has all the things you could need. Plenty of hot water for all 5 of us to shower. All the extras you read about in the other reviews are true. My kids got welcome Easter baskets with all sorts of thoughtful gifts. Homemade muffins, fresh eggs and the towel animals made us feel so welcome! We spent a little bit of time visiting with Bruce in his workshop and our 14 year old got to cut open a geode!! We cooked hotdogs and made s’mores on a campfire. My girls played with the hoola hoops sidewalk chalk- and there’s even a hammock! I could keep going but if you want to visit this area then book this place now!

Best VRBO experience yet!
Cory and Bruce were tremendous hosts! This was not our usual nice VRBO stay. Upon arrival they had gift bags for our children to help celebrate New Years Eve. They also had fresh eggs for us and the most amazing blueberry muffins I have ever tasted. The property was great! They have games and movies for the children and the property had everything we needed for meals. The outdoor firepit was tremendous and Cory and Bruce had it set up for us upon arrival. They were the best VRBO hosts we have ever had and we have had great stays before. This went beyond our expectations. Thank You!

Great getaway in the desert!
Bruce & Corey are wonderful hosts. We were greeted with a tray of homemade blueberry muffins (which were delicious) and a bowl of fresh eggs, courtesy of their hens. The kitchen was well stocked, the laundry room had extra goodies for purchase of $1 (honor system) and the rest of the house was nicely appointed. The yard offered just as much as the house did. They had a sweet fire pit setup that we unfortunately did not use as well as a side garden with a hammock, a grill, outdoor table and fresh veggies and hot peppers growing around the property. The rocking chairs on the front porch were also a nice place for morning coffee! If you are going to visit White Sands Nat'l Park, they have provided sleds to use so you don't have to purchase one for $25 or rent for $20. It seems Bruce and Corey have though of everything. We had a memorable stay hiking in Guadalupe Mountain Nat'l Park (visits in the fall & spring boast beautiful foliage) and Carlsbad Caverns and celebrating my mom's 80th birthday. I would highly recommend this property to future visitors!

Phenomenal!
We had the BEST experience! Cory and Bruce were so welcoming! They left us fresh blueberry muffins, eggs, milk and even cute little baskets for all of the kids! They kids LOVED it and were not ready leave. The house was so clean and well stocked with everything! We will be coming back!
