After we stayed here, the owners sent a photo of a food storage container with one dried tomato seed, and some popsicle drips in the fridge and claimed that it took two extra hours of cleaning. It seems their cleaners made up a story to get extra cash. The owners didn't even respond to my text. We've stayed here for four years, but clearly not again because expectations have gotten ridiculous, prices have increased, and it has become completely one-sided. Each year was a worse experience. They seem to expect it to be left in perfect condition, despite us paying for cleaning. In the past we have always pointed out the many things that needed attention–to pay it forward–after the stay, and never have complained during the stay. It is a real shame that it has come to this. I have even replaced remote batteries and made minor repairs, like tightening up loose cabinet handles. Clearly there is no loyalty or fairness to those who stay here.
