„We wanted a peaceful getaway and that’s what got at the Buck Shack. We were a short drive with breathtaking views and landscapes. We enjoyed a campfire with s’mores at night. Enjoyed the sound of nature and birds singing. Had excellent communication with host and most everything we needed when we arrived. The indoor decor is rustic and beautifully decorated with small accents and details. Highly recommend!☺️“

„The cabin was adorable but I didn’t realize the two person cabin had no bathroom. We were at the top of the hill and had to drive downhill to the bath house. Would have been nice to have a bathroom at least near our cabin to use at night. Also it was a surprise for the $200 deposit to come out the day before our arrival in addition to what we paid. Everything was clean and nice other than that.“

„We love this cottage and have stayed several times. The property is so peaceful and the home is darling and well equipped. It’s located near Tappan lake and Deersville General Store. „The house was very clean and welcoming. We loved being close to the lake but also feeling at home. Smart tvs in every room to entertain the kids after a long day on the water. Only downfall was we didn’t really get to use the hot tub because the temp was too cold. “

„We got so lucky finding this place! It will definitely be our anniversary getaway from now on! The decorations are amazing and so fun, the bed was super comfy (and I’m picky) and the water pressure in the shower was better than my own house!!!!
