„Overall felt safe, clean environment, and slept well. Hot shower and cold AC. The elevator did not seem very sturdy but it worked & the ice maker on the 2nd floor didn’t work. The breakfast was good, however since it was busy the food ran out the employees did their best to replenish the food. We wouldn’t mind staying again, especially for the price.“

„Owner was very Sweet! Had called to check on my arrival time and I had mentioned in conversation, I forgot my book. He politely offered me books and set some on the end of the bed for my arrival. Very cute and cozy place. Very peaceful to set and read a book at the outside accommodations.“

„The Hotel was very clean and the staff was very nice and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was exceptional. The interior of the Hotel was neat and clean as a pin. The only thing that fell short was the exterior of the building. It desperately needs a coat of paint and freshening up. The landscaping was horrific and looked like an abandoned building from the exterior. I expected much better street appeal from Marriot. Other than that my week-long stay was awesome.“

„The pool was freezing cold. When you were in your room you could hear absolutely everything going on outside of your room. The shampoo and body wash inside the room were enough for one person one time use. Definitely not enough for 3 people staying there. The beds were super uncomfortable. The only thing this hotel had that was good was their breakfast.“

„All the staff (regardless of what time of day you interacted with them) were very pleasant and got along with one another. The longevity of their time working for The Super 8 in Dunbar is a testament to how they’re treated by management. I stayed at the other 2 hotels in Dunbar and the owner has a big turnover of staff. If you like black mold and questionable bookkeeping (ie., billing inflated) don’t reserve at the Super 8. If you like clean rooms and honest billing then the Super 8 is the place ...

„They staff was very polite and helpful the breakfast was wonderful. The room we stayed in was big but the carpet was disgusting and some things were showing a lot of wear. If they would invest in a good carpet cleaning and spruce up the bathroom this would be 5 stars.“

„Indeed, shortly brought to the point: - This hotel has been renovated up to 100%. You see some spures of earlier decades (elictricity issues) and what is of my point of view a clear minus: you hear your neighbours and people talking on the floor very clearly, what means, that ist not a perfect building or that the hotel has been renovated completely. This you can see also in the Whirlpool area.... Now the + things: - Very friendly and competend stuff - Really great Breakfast - Very nice rooms, ...
