„The room was clean and had all that was advertised, but had not been updated in a long time. The beds were not very comfortable, but frankly for the price and the location worth it and would definitely stay there again. We had no issues with anything. “

„We very much enjoyed the Sassafras’s cabin! Clean, well appointed with dishes, pans etc. they even provided coffee. Centrally located in the Shawnee Natl Forest, we were only 8 minutes away from great hiking, The Garden of the Gods and more. While there are other cabins nearby there was plenty of privacy. Very quiet place to enjoy a fire pit and decompress. We will absolutely be back for another stay. “

„It was a short trip for us to visit Garden of the Gods. This house was exactly what we needed! The kitchen was stocked with all the basic necessities, the house was clean and smelled great, multiple bedrooms and bathrooms make it great for group trips, the laundry room was an added bonus and great to wash our clothes after hiking! We could not beat the location either. Super close to the hiking trails but also close enough to town for dinner. We will be back for more trails!“

„This stay included everything we needed for a quiet a rejuvenating long weekend - easy access to hiking, small town with good pizza, a chocolate factory and ice cream shop within 5 minutes drive and yet somehow very secluded and quiet.
