End of Summer Trip
The property was the perfect location if you are trying to explore Cashiers. The house was 2 minutes from the center of Cashiers and perfect for our group as we were spending our time looking through the shops along with going to see the Designer Showhouse. We went out to eat for our meals but the kitchen would have been great to cook in. We enjoyed a late night catching up on the screened in porch along with a quiet morning on the porch again drinking coffee. Everyone agreed we would stay again when we come back!

One of the best in Cashiers
We just returned from a great long stay at this property. We really loved it. It was a great location very nice renovated house and stocked well. As a previous reviewer mentioned, there is a property developer business downstairs which the owner runs and it is just staffed during the weekdays, which didn’t bother me at all and they are helpful if you need anything so as long as that doesn’t bother you, I would highly recommend this place. Also, one thing I mentioned that it would’ve been nice to have when I got to the property is a gas outdoor grill and the owner went out and bought one for us which was very much appreciated so you could enjoy that as well for cookouts

We were quickly in and out for a wedding weekend and couldn’t have enjoyed our stay better! The house is spacious and Ben communicated with us so well. If we are ever in Cashiers again, this will be our first choice!

Weekend Getaway
This home was up to date, clean and easy access to surrounding areas. It was honestly the best "stocked" home I have ever stayed in. The kitchen had great dishes of all kinds, tons of spices and herbs..ect. Even the laundry room had several detergents to choose from and stain remover. That was amazing. Communication with the owner was fantastic. He was very quick to reply, friendly and flexible. We were initially planning on heading home on a Sunday. We asked for a late check out, as we were planning on staying in the area until lunch. He checked the calendar and okay'ed it fairly promptly. We ended up loving our time as a family and extended it until Monday. We brought our dog and loved that there was a fenced area for her to use the bathroom. What we were not aware of was that this property is literally right off the main road. I was initially upset about this as I have younger children and wish that had been disclosed. Once inside you actually don't hear the cars very much in the main living areas. The home is warm & comfortable. The Owner had the lights and heat on for our arrival. That was great. The Master Bedroom can't hear the cars at night, the other two bedrooms hear it pretty loud. The home was clean over all, however stink bugs everywhere. My boys caught at least 30. They did have fun catching them though. Overall this was a great home. Very inviting and a great home away from home.

Wonderful Getaway
Home was extremely nice, with a fantastic kitchen/dining/great room. Plenty of room for the family and dogs (fenced in side yard a great perk). Conveniently located to the Cashiers crossroads. We would stay here again.

Loved the location! The house was fabulous! but the fact that there is a business in the basement was a bit odd !!!..and that was not disclosed to use... Also, we are in the mountains and we sure missed having an outside fireplace on the porch.

The home was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The location is perfect if you want to take day trips. Close to the center of town and in close proximity to Highlands. We had a great time and the host was quickly accessible if we needed anything. The Farmhouse was beautifully furnished, as well.

Perfect fit
It's not easy to find a perfect fit for a family vacation, especially when you have your pets with you but this house was it. Clean, fully stocked, spacious, excellent location, easy to access, comfortable, and fully serviced. The construction of the house itself is high quality, the porch was a perfect refuge from mosquitoes while still allowing for a variety of semi-outdoor activity (family games, meals, or reading quietly solo). As pet owners, the proximity to the vet across the street, dog bag station at the house, fenced area etc were more than we could ask for. I even took a picture with the nice master bathroom and closet when leaving to show my dad, who's likely working with us on our own master remodel soon. On our last day in town, we ended up with car troubles. The host graciously worked with us on the timing of our departure etc while our car was at the shop (out of town). This extra consideration was tremendously appreciated while we were dealing with the extra stress. My in laws slept in the separate guest rooms and reported back that the bedding was also comfortable and the shower was great. This week definitely be our first pick next time we return to the area, if someone doesn't beat us to it! (Usually once a year)

Perfect For Long Weekend
We love this house! We rent in Cashiers/Highlands every year and this time we decided to come back for a long weekend after picking our son up for camp. We will definitely stay here again! Debra was very accommodating and kind. The house was perfect for us! Super clean, all of the amenities, super stocked kitchen, location, location, location, and the dog yard was a savior! Thank you Debra for a wonderful stay!

Best Cashiers VRBO Rental ever
This house is so fabulous in everyway! We have already booked it again. Really love that it is pet friendly and even has a small fenced area out back. I have never stayed in a rental with a kitchen so well appointed...just awesome. And the location is absolutely perfect. Absolutely a 5 star rental.

Great house in a convenient location
This house was perfect for our family of five’s visit over thanksgiving. It is close to downtown, shopping, and restaurants, and easy to get to hiking trails and other outdoor attractions. The beds were comfy, and the layout worked well for our family. The kitchen is not lacking in anything, and we appreciated having decent cookware and knives and serving dishes for our holiday meal. There was also an extra fridge in the laundry room which helped with prep and storing leftovers. We also enjoyed the screened-in porch. You will not have much of a view and this house is off the main road which wasn’t a deal-breaker for us, but it might be for some who are wanting more privacy. The town is so quiet that it didn’t bother us or our outdoor neighbors; we saw the most beautiful buck from the back porch on thanksgiving day.

An amazing experience
What a lovely surprise. This home was well cared for and clean. I was alone for the first week. I love to cook and this kitchen did not disappoint. It is large and pretty well equipped. It had all the basics needed to prepare meals...super important to me. I loved the open concept and airy feel to the home. The master bedroom and bath are huge. The closet is big enough for 2. Once my friends arrived for a few days...everyone remarked about how comfortable the beds were. We never felt cramped or lacked privacy. I think my dog was sad to leave, she loved the sounds of wildlife on the porch. Overall, this was one of the most relaxing vacations I have had in a long while. I love this area as there is so much to see and do. I highly recommend this home . Ben and Deb were great to work with. .I loved my privacy however, I know if I needed anything they were on it. We gifted the house Champagne Flutes, cookie sheets and pot holders...Now its complete!

Great family home!
This is a fabulous home that is well maintained and in a great location to anything from Cashiers to Highlands. We had a blast and felt at home. The house is well stocked and they have thought of everything you may need. Only 3 things to consider when staying there; the towels in the master were awful so share with the other bathroom, there are no hot-pads for cooking, and there is only dinnerware for 6.

Lovely stay near town
The farmhouse is charming in all aspects. My husband and I enjoyed a lovely stay over Memorial Day Weekend with our daughter, her boyfriend and our dog. It was super close to the town of Cashiers. The beds were comfortable and the home is well stocked for all your cooking needs and their is a charcoal grill which we enjoyed using for burgers one night. Highly recommend!
