Willow Creek Cottage

You’ll find our 2 bedroom 1 bath nestled in the Driftless Area of south central Wisconsin. Located in heart of the very small community of Loyd, consisting of less than a dozen homes. Bring your favorite meals to cook up in our custom Amish kitchen. Tired of the hustle and bustle of life? Take a weekend to relax around the fire pit and grill the trout you just caught in Willow Creek class 1 trout stream. Kick back and enjoy.

The bathroom needed complete remodel. The wood-look paper covered molding was peeling and the tub/shower needed to be secured to the wall and cleaned. The price for the unit was great, but some work is really needed.

Perfect Quiet Getaway
This was the perfect weekend escape for my spouse and I. We were looking for peace, quiet, and comfort, and this cozy home provided all of the above. The beds and furniture were comfy and kitchen well stocked. The water pressure is a bit on the low side, so don't expect to fill the tub quickly or have the most relaxing shower, but that wasn't the point of our stay so it didn't bother us much. We will definitely be returning the next time we have the opportunity to get away for a while.

Great getaway
We were in town for a wedding that was about 15 minutes away so this was very convenient. It has all that you need, and the kitchen is very well set up with pots, pans, utensils, etc. The bathroom needs an update, and the grill was not working when we were there, but we appreciated having an option close to the event at this price point. It was very comfortable and convenient. The A/C worked great, and it was very clean. We would stay here again.

Can’t wait to go back
The cottage was very peaceful and quite. We enjoyed exploring the little park down the street and the surrounding towns. We visited the House on the Rock and The Cave in the Mounds. We are planning on taking a trip next year to explore some more. Would definitely recommend for anyone traveling the area to stay here!

We are a contractor who works out of town a lot. It's so much nicer to put the guys up in a nice home instead of a motel. Everything listed was provided, nice quiet area. Am using this property again while in the area. Hosts are very kind and easy to get a hold of. All in all, great stay!!

This property is great for those of us that can handle being away from restaurants and cities. Loyd is a town of about 10 houses and a perfect place to home base while visiting Taliesin and the House on the Rock. Everything was in great working condition and it is so quiet we slept soundly.

Off the beaten path
Very quiet, and clean rural home. Plenty of room for the 4 of us. An hour from the House on the Rock, the Dells and Cave of the Mounds. ET grocery, well stocked, is a hoot and only minutes away. A very comfortable stay but the only downside is very limited cell phone coverage.

Perfect for our needs!
The Willow Creek cottage was just perfect for us! It was clean, clean, clean and well stocked with dishes, utensils (even though we brought our own plasticware & paper plates), a keurig, and even coffee pods. The beds were comfy and bathroom had plenty of towels for the three of us. Loyd is a peaceful little town just 10 minutes from Richland Center which has a Walmart, so the location was ideal. There is a creek nearby where my son was able to catch 2 trout so that made his trip. Check in was simple, instructions were clear, and the owners were very responsive. We will definitely stay here again.
