„This was a unique property due to its location. Although it was in a remote area, major attractions were within 30 minutes by car (and a few were only minutes away) Our host, Ruthie, was very accommodating and took us to an area fireworks show on the 4th. Her suggestions for restaurants in the immediate area were excellent! We enjoyed our chats with her and her extensive knowledge of the area was a definite plus. „The property isn’t near all the tourist trap areas, which is what I prefer. It’s a short drive to a beach, maybe 45 minutes to Morehead city. The view off from the deck is definitely worth the drive.“
