Looking for a getaway? Look no further than Island View townhouse, located in the heart of downtown Cedar Key. This two-bedroom, one-bathroom rental is blessed with open Gulf of Mexico views and two waterfront balconies overlooking the islands and working waterfront. Escape the world and relax with your loved one at this instant hideaway.

The waterfront bedroom has a king-sized bed and private balcony, while the guest bedroom has a queen-sized bed. The bathroom features a tub/shower combination, vanity, and toilet. On the top floor, you'll find a spacious and comfortable living room and fully equipped kitchen, as well as another private waterfront balcony with cathedral ceilings.

Please note that there is a loft/balcony area above the living room with a twin bed that is accessed by a ladder. While this area is not acceptable for unattended children due to the lack of walls, it is perfect for a third guest or additional storage space.
We ask for a maximum occupancy of four guests, and provide all necessary cooking utensils, linens, towels, and toiletries. You'll also have access to a washer and dryer on the ground floor.
Compact cars and golf carts can park in the breezeway under the house, while larger vehicles are asked to park across the parking lot on the grassy area. Island View is one of seven townhouses in a row, so please be considerate of others when parking.

Island View is the perfect base for exploring Cedar Key's restaurants and attractions, with everything just a short walk away. At high tide, fish from the sea wall, and at low tide, explore the sandbar directly in front of the townhouse. There's even a private sandy beach just a few yards away!

Cedar Key Lovely
Stunning location with proximity of water that almost seems like you're on a boat. Kind of an older building with an odd floor plan, but not surprising with the age of the building and the nightly price is almost unbeatable, especially for having a full town home. The management decorated it very cutely and it was very clean. If anything, the carpet may be could use replacing but not a big deal.

Nice townhouse, great view.
The unit needs some attention. But was ok for our needs. I was VERY ticked off that we were not ALLOWED to use the pool and grill there. Even offered to pay for a day and was told no. Do try the beach area next to the property, was slimy and not clear water. So pretty much all that was a HUGE disappointment, will probably not stay there again.

We will absolutely rent this unit again!
Stunning view the Porpoise swam and played right under our balcony! The views are breathtaking. So close to everything but nice and quiet at the townhouse. Service was excellent and great communication. We'll be back.

Location is great
This unit has a fantastic unobstructed view of the ocean and island across the way. Also a side view of the waterfront area of town. Very close to the waterfront park, kayak and golf cart rentals. We had the windows and sliding doors out to patios open the entire time we were there, taking in the beautiful Ocean breeze. The water/waves are so close it felt like being on a boat without the motion. The waterfront and downtown restaurants/shops are all within walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay and spent a lot of weekend just hanging at the rental. It is very easy to launch kayaks from the property when tides are not low. the management company was very responsive and easy to work with. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. Now for the negatives.. if you can’t or don’t like steps this unit is not for you. The living room and kitchen are on the 3rd floor which is about 24 steps up. The bedrooms and the only bathroom in the unit are on the 2nd floor, this means you are always walking steps. The stairways are also extremely narrow and a little steep. This was not an issue for us but could be a hinderance for others. The furniture in the living area was very dated and uncomfortable. There are only 2 outdoor chairs on each deck. Since this is a 2 bedroom unit there should be at least 4 outdoor chairs on 3rd floor living area deck. There is also too much junk/ornamental stuff in living area. The chairs next to the breakfast nook need to be removed. You can feel the boards in them when you sit down. The heating/cooling system is very loud. Lucky we only needed it for a few hours in the am. I had to turn it off at night. I would not book this unit in the summer because you won’t be able to have windows open and will only hear the loud air conditioning.. Overall…We would return to this complex in the winter months… the views and location won our hearts.

Not for people with physical limitations and it was musty and dirty to stay in.
We rented the listing for three nights and we vacated the listing within the first hour of our arrival. This listing is not suitable for older people or people with physical limitations. There are lots of steep stairs, no banisters and the stairways are very narrow. Climbing the stairs to get to the bedrooms and then more stairs to the kitchen/living room was torturous. It smelled and felt humid in the condo as if the ac was just turned on before our arrival. The carpets were very dirty, the floors were dirty. and we saw ants and cockroaches. The exterior deck was moldy which is a grave matter for someone like myself with a compromised immune system. Needless to say, after resting for a short period of time we took our luggage back down the stairs and vacated the condo. The management office was closed so we returned the keys the next morning as soon as it opened. We spent less than an hour in our three day rental.
