The house was very clean and comfortable, and 2 days there rejuvenated my family and I before heading home. It was only a 25 minute trip to JMU, which was the reason for the visit. Quiet, beautiful, perfect weekend! “

„Property was exactly as I envisioned, older home updated to provide all you need for a comfortable stay. Hot tub works! Remote area, but within access to Seneca Rocks, Spruce Knob, Monterey and Highland County. House and adjacent property is a birder's paradise, walking the trail through the woods and the driveway itself provides many different birds. I saw a Scarlet Tanager, Turkeys, Vireos, Warblers, etc. Also saw a box turtle (rare sighting these days!). Absolutely no noise or light pollution ...

„Positiv: Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet und hat alles was man braucht um sich wohl zu fühlen. Auch in der Küche ist alles vorhanden. Die Umgebung bietet viele Möglichkeiten um etwas zu unternehmen. Negativ: Die Klimaanlage kühlt leider nur den unteren Stock und nicht die Schlafzimmer. Die Betten sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Der Nachbar war recht unfreundlich und gegenüber Fremden nicht besonders offen. Der Zugang zum Fluss war leider zugewuchert.“
