A secluded, country escape, while only being a few minutes from shops and eateries, as well as the historic buildings in Centreville. The space
The property is set back off of a main road, down a long dirt driveway. It is tucked back behind a large field and wooded area in between. It is a shared driveway, that forks at the end, but there is signage for the property so it is easy to find. You'll enter through the right hand gate to the property: a river cabin on stilts with a wrap around porch and metal roof.
Once you have arrived, you'll head up the stairs where you will get the best view of the river! Then, you'll enter through the side door into a 70s-esque, chill hangout suitable for the whole family!
Lots of windows in the main part of the home to ensure plenty of natural light and great views. Tall, A-frame style ceilings with exposed wood beams and custom spiral ductwork. The home is complete with blackout curtains and stylish interior, with natural bead board walls and wood accents throughout the home and supplied with antique furniture.
The side door opens into a large open concept living area with a reclining couch, glider chair, and plenty of entertainment and movies to watch on the bookshelf . The kitchen is equipped with all cooking essentials/cutlery, a dual action coffee pot, gas stove and oven, freezer/fridge, microwave, and toaster oven. The dining table is just to the side with a great view of the river through the window and plenty of seating.
The open loft bedroom upstairs features two twin beds and a large side table. The large bathroom with double sinks and a standing shower is just to the left of the stairs. The bathroom also opens to the master bedroom which features a queen bed, dresser, side tables, and a record player. The master bedroom opens to the wrap-around porch, where there is plenty of seating so your family can relax and take in the grand views!
Guest access
You will have full, private access to the home as well as the kayak/Jon boat launch. The yard is yours to use, however, the barn and sheds are off limits at this time. I also ask that you remain outside of the fenced area and lean-to garage. Please refrain from walking up the driveway as a courtesy to the neighbors with which it is shared. Please do not attempt to park under the house, as it does not have enough clearance for most vehicles.

Notes on the River:
The river is a natural body of water and thus is occasionally prone to flooding and fast movement. You enter the river AT YOUR OWN RISK. No kayaks, canoes, boats, other water crafts will be provided for you to use, it is BYOB (Bring Your Own Boat). The river is faster than it looks, I advise you not to get in the river if it looks the slightest bit fast.
The kayak launch cannot tolerate bass fishing boats or other larger freshwater fishing boats. It only tolerates kayaks, canoes, and small metal Jon-boats.
Diving in this river can be dangerous as it has large rocks just beneath the surface.
This property is in a country setting and you may see wildlife such as: deer, cranes, rabbits, turtles, eagles and other types of birds, fish, bugs, ticks, and mosquitoes, and other types of animals usually found in wooded areas. Please do not feed or bother the wildlife.
