The space is bright, fun, and full of charm & character :)

PLEASE NOTE: As of 10/30 construction has begun in a lot across from the home that may cause some additional noise during the day.

Guest Access:
The unit sits on it's own as the back house, so you will have access to the entire property - including off-street parking! PLEASE NOTE - parking is very tight, if you have a large vehicle we suggest using the parking garage nearby.

The Neighborhood:
The Elliotborough/Cannonborough district of downtown Charleston. With its friendly neighbors, cozy restaurants, and tree lined streets, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charleston’s classic charm. This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.

Getting Around:
You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

Great Home
Clean, great location and very responsive owners. It did have a musty smell when we got there and some of the lights were out. LIghts were replaced right away. Also this is not a place to stay if you have trouble on stairs. The winding staircase is not easy to lug luggage up and down. Othwerwise, wonderful.

Cozy spot close to King Street
This was our first visit to Charleston and the location was great, so close to King Street without having to be right in the action. The walkability of downtown was awesome, bring your walking shoes. The property was comfortable and clean. The bed was so comfortable and the linens were soft! The parking is TIGHT. A large vehicle will not fit. Listen to the reviews. We have a smaller crossover, we fit, but it was so tight getting into the designated parking space. Thankfully we were the only car until the last day. To avoid this, the paid parking garage is right around the corner! One downfall, if your neighbors aren’t mindful of the noise you can hear everything in the adjoining apartment. Our last night a bunch of college kids arrived and partied until 2 AM, we didn’t get much sleep because of the noise.

Super cute
The space was super nice. Bed was really comfortable! We didn’t use the kitchen at all, but it was very roomy and would be great to use if needed. Only issue we had was the driveway is SUPER TINY. We were told a “normal sized” vehicle would fit. However when we arrived in our Honda Passport (not a large SUV) we wouldn’t fit. Thankfully info for a parking deck a few blocks away was provided. We would definitely stay here again!

Great property/tight parking
Great little property. A little further away from downtown than we would have liked. Be sure to check into the parking before booking. We were notified a week before arrival that parking is tight and only small vehicles/small suv’s will fit. On arrival they are correct. The driveway is extremely narrow and we had to move numerous trash cans to be able to park. Other than this the property is perfect.

The place is as advertised. It is small but perfect for just my wife and I for a few days. The location is perfect. Easy walking to great restaurants and shops. Parking is tight. Anything more than a mid size suv will not fit.

Very clean (and I’m picky!) home. There were a few tiny things like missing light bulbs but the owner was extremely responsive, emailing back very quickly. Convenient location. A little bit of noise from the attached unit but quiet neighborhood. Recommend!

A great long weekend getaway
We liked that it was easy walking distance to King St., Meeting St., etc. There were restaurants within easy walking distance. Nice pizza and breakfast/lunch spots were very close by as well as some small, interesting locally owned shops. Our bed was comfortable the shower spacious and the kitchen was nice as well. We had a great time!

Great location but tight parking
Great location with parking! Located at the north end of where everything on King Street is. It's roughly 15-25 mins to walk to the water along King street to give an idea of the length of King St. Absolutely fabulous interior with 2 ac units and laundry. Includes parking spot but getting in there is not for the faint of heart. It would be pretty tough for a full size SUV. That said street parking was fine. It's nice to know dedicated parking is available if needed during the busy season. Great host communication. Note you get your check in instructions via email not vrbo app. Also check out seems to be standard 10AM which was a big surprise expecting standard 11AM. It's fully disclosed just not something that was obvious from standard practice. I would consider it very reasonable to avoid using a car, ubering from airport and just walking and occasionally ubering. It's a great location. Would definitely stay again.

Couples retreat
This home is a great option for couples visiting Charleston. Tucktaway, but close enough to all of the sites. Listing is 100% accurate. Pictures don’t do it justice. This place is beautiful. Believe what the host says about the driveway and parking it is narrow But definitely usable. I have a small SUV and had no issues. I would definitely stay again.
