The Space:
This spacious 3-story house is divided into 6 separate condos. The building is perfect for larger groups of friends or families that want to vacation together but still have their own suite to relax in at the end of a fun day exploring the city.

This listing includes a 1st floor 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom unit WITH ONE ASSIGNED OFF-STREET PARKING SPACE.

The open floor plan accommodates both dining and lounge space, making it great for groups looking to spend time together or enjoy a meal. It has a breakfast bar with 2 seats and living room with high ceilings. This unit is smartly finished and furnished with quality stainless steel appliances and flat-screen TVs. Comfy, minimalist design and thoughtful details like upholstered headboards and subway-tiled showers add modern personality. Every room has hardwood floors, central A/C, and free WiFi. The kitchen cabinets are stocked with essential cookware and cutlery and all linens are provided in each apartment.

After these initial supplies run out, we do not offer additional supplies. There are several convenience stores and grocery stores in the area for your convenience.

This 2-acre private membership club nestled in downtown Charleston is a modern oasis offering resort-style amenities and a Bali-Tulum-inspired atmosphere unparalleled on the Charleston peninsula.

The Wonderer includes a swimming pool, onsite eateries for breakfast, lunch, dinner, trendy cocktails, and of course poolside cabanas! It also includes an indoor gym and fitness studio with daily classes, a recovery room full of spa therapies, private and shared workspaces, live music, and an active calendar of social events.

This unit is fully licensed and legal with the City of Charleston under STR Operational Permit OP2024-05386 and business license BL012815.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to this suite and will have all of the essentials you need during your stay.

THIS LISTING INCLUDES ONE PARKING SPACE ONLY. Parking is labeled in our parking lot behind the building. The parking is tight, we cannot accommodate oversized vehicles in our lot.

Please don't inquire about additional parking as we don't have access to any. The closest garage is at the corner of King and Spring Street at the Hyatt Place about 6 blocks away. If you have more than one car, please plan for that.

Once you confirm your reservation at The Wonderer, you will receive a link to book your time to visit the Campus. Please note, all fitness classes and ticketed events are offered based on availability and may come at an additional cost. Day Passes are available with required pre-registration via a link that will be shared with you upon booking.

Day pass reservations at The Wonderer for guests of this property are completely free of charge. The Wonderer’s on-site parking lot is a paid lot, however there is free on-street parking in the area subject to availability.

Please note: availability at The Wonderer is not guaranteed without a confirmed reservation. The number of available day passes remains strictly first-come, first-serve. If you plan to enjoy The Wonderer anytime between April 15th - September 1st, we strongly suggest booking in advance to guarantee access.

The Wonderer has a minimum age requirement of 25 years old (unless you're a member, a guest of a member, or receive a special exception from club management).

This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun and or relaxing vacation. The house is minutes to the very popular Upper King Street district where you will find a multitude of great shops, bookstores, and fashion boutiques - as well as amazing restaurants!

You can walk anywhere and everywhere in Charleston, but just in case, here is a list of the top transportation services:

The DASH trolley is free in Charleston. There are 3 routes, and two of the routes have stops just blocks from this property. More information can be found with the route map on the DASH website.

Other Things to Note:
Pet policy: As much as we love the four-legged members of your family, we do not allow pets at this property. Any sign of pets will incur additional fees starting at $500.

Parking: Our parking lot is very tight. We do not have parking for any oversized vehicles. If you have questions about whether or not your car will fit, please ask. Additional overnight parking available at the Hyatt Place on King Street for $18/night.

No smoking is allowed. Violators will be fined for in-room smoke damages. Smoking is only permitted outside of the property at least 10 feet away please.

THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOUSE.

Please note that there is a noise ordinance in this neighborhood after 11pm daily, so if you are enjoying yourself please take the party inside and be considerate of the neighbors.

Extenuating Circumstances Hurricane Policy: If a Mandatory Evacuation Order is issued by the Governor during the dates of your stay specifically for the county in which the property is located, the extenuating circumstances policy will be in effect, and we will refund any deposits or payments paid by the guest. We shall have no additional liability concerning the reservation. However, if a Mandatory Evacuation Order is NOT issued, then THE STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICY WILL REMAIN IN EFFECT SHOULD THE GUEST CHOOSE TO CANCEL THEIR RESERVATION. If inclement weather in any other part of the country or world during the dates of stay prohibits or alters the guest (or any individuals in the guest's group) from traveling to the property, a refund will not be issued, and we shall have no liability with respect to the reservation. During months where there is a potential for inclement weather, such as hurricane season, we strongly recommend guests purchase travel insurance.

This was an inviting and welcoming stay within Charleston and a close drive to all other locations we were visiting. Great location, easy to find, and had all the amenities we needed (yay for 2 bathrooms!). Only issues (please know not the fault of the owners in any way) guests staying in the unit above us had no residential etiquette as they were quite noisy with a lot of banging and heavy walking (love kids as I am an elementary teacher, but not when they run constantly above us). Also, on 2 occasions someone parked in our assigned spot. If we had not arrived while the vehicle owners were still at their cars, we would not have been able to remedy the issue. One person was a "guest" in a B unit (parked in an "A" spot!?!) and the other was a "guest" in a residence across from the Manor lot. Other than the two instances mentioned above, next time we visit Charleston, we will definitely be looking to book again. Thanks so much for a lovely stay!

The property photos were very accurate and the place was clean and items were well kept. We had an issue at checking in as the code did not work. We did get a response fairly quickly and they also handled the internet issue we had. We appreciated the white sound machines as the road and upstairs tenants could be heard very clearly. We understand this was an old house and therefore not having the same sound barriers as today. Overall, the management company was very easy to work with and very responsive.

Great stay!
As described, this rental is comfortable, well equipped and clean. Hosts were very responsive to the few small issues we had. 15 min walk to King Street. A bit noisy from upstairs neighbors and street noise but didn’t bother us. Beds were comfy, full bathrooms were great and den was small but cozy. Great stay for a girls trip!

The house was a great choice for us. It’s a few blocks away from the main parts of downtown but is easily walkable or just used an Uber. It was clean and well decorated. Some road noise but that’s to be expected in a historic type of home downtown. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.
