Vielleicht entscheiden Sie sich für Kajakfahren oder Paddeln den Fluss hinunter. Wenn Sie Mountainbiken bevorzugen, gibt es einen Pfad ganz in der Nähe oder Black Mountain unterstützt einige der besten, die es gibt! Wenn Sie von Ihrem Abenteuer zurück sind, können Sie durch den Biogarten des Hofs schlendern und ein paar Leckereien zum Abendessen sammeln. Amazing stay!
Absolutely stunning lakefront property in Michigan! Our stay here was a dream come true. The breathtaking views of the water right from the backyard left us in awe. The house was immaculate, well-furnished, and had all the amenities we could ask for. We spent our days lounging on the private dock, taking in the serene atmosphere, and enjoying water activities. The sunsets were straight out of a postcard. Kathy was incredibly accommodating and made sure our stay was perfect, including providing a pie and s’mores treats as a welcome gift. This is the ideal getaway for anyone seeking tranquility.

Oh my goodness!
This is one place you definitely have to stay at! The home is very clean and spacious, with so much to do inside and out. Kathy our wonderful host gave us a warm welcome with a delicious homemade apple pie and some flowers. She had the fire pit set with logs ready to be lit along with everything needed to make s’mores. The hot tub was clean with fresh water just waiting for us. Our family said they want to make this a yearly vacation as it was so relaxing and fun! Thank you Kathy, for making our stay so special.💕

What a surprise and joy this family vacation rental was for our group. Kathy was a great host and welcomed us on day one with an informative tour, a river life gift basket and a delicious raspberry rhubarb pie. She is so kind and attentive to all the details. Best VRBO Host!
Our group, 4 adults +2 teens, and a few additional family members for day visits enjoyed this property tremendously. The amount of resources and amenities for our use was above and beyond previous VRBO experiences. These included an option to have the host grocery shop in advance, option for a pontoon rental, a large garden on property to pick from, paddle boards, kayaks, a canoe, a large dock to use with our own boat, large kitchen ready for preparing meals, so much more. Kathy is a great host, very friendly, helpful, and responsive. The location on the river provided great access to the Cheboygan river, very close to the Black River, not far from Mullet Lake or Lake Huron, and close to stores in Cheboygan. Stay here, you won't be disappointed. 5 Stars!

Kathy, she is such a terrific person and host. She greeted us with a pie, fresh picked vegetables from her garden and a dozen organic eggs! How nice was that! We enjoyed the nice and clean house, a beautiful water view and the kids throughly enjoyed the water activities that was available.

"Kathy is an outstanding host who did everything to make our 5-day stay a great experience. Home was very clean and stocked with all provisions that we needed. Property is very large, private and great for outside activities, including plenty of space for dogs to play. Location on Cheboygan River is very scenic. It does require a 30 minute, no-wake boat ride each way to Mullet Lake, but is a pleasant cruise. We did take advantage of the optional pontoon rental - The boat and motor are certainly not new but it worked out for our family of seven. The whole family voted Kathy's place as a 5-star vacation experience.

Just perfect!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We’ve been renting cottages around Michigan every summer for many years; this one is definitely our favorite so far! Beautiful house and property, great location, and Kathy is by far the best host we’ve ever had! She goes above and beyond, starting first with the delicious homemade pie and fresh flower bouquet waiting for us when we arrived. The house was clean and had everything we needed plus more! We enjoyed taking the pontoon boat out to Mullet Lake (took us only 30 minutes on the Cheboygan River to get there). We spent a lot of time on the Black River too - great for fishing and tubing with the kids. The kids enjoyed swimming off the dock and taking the kayaks out. We spent the evenings in the hot tub or around the bonfire (or both!). Cheboygan is a nice town, not too busy and has everything you need. We never stay in the same place more than once, but we might have to come back to this one!

Outstanding Vacation Home on the Cheboygan River
This is an outstanding place to stay at with plenty of outdoor toys to use, Kayaks, Paddle board, Bikes, Grills, huge fire pit with plenty of firewood, plenty of outdoor chairs and tables. The Pontoon boat was so convenient to use and take cruises up and down the Cheboygan River. The owner goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable.

Kathy has thought of everything needed for relaxing stay, right down to the fresh apple pie awaiting us on the island. She left all the makings for smores over the fire pit & corn for popping & all the seasonings & spices we needed for cooking. We plucked of some nice end of season tomatoes also. Property was listed to sleep 8. This was not accurate. There was 1 king bed and 1 queen bed. There were two beds in the loft area. This was fine for the children but there is no way that two adults could sleep there. My two sons are tall and could not fit in the loft beds. Listing was very deceiving.

Beautiful home on Cheboygan River! Kathy thought of everything. If you love to be on/in the water - this is for you! Lovely backyard with great fire pit. Kathy- hostess of the year!!!
Kathy is special — truly a phenomenal individual & very attentive not to mention of great help! Applauds 👏👏👏 as we appreciated her time! Location: Due to the property being situated so far from a large body of water our boat rental time was cut short :( Personally traveling a no wake for 30 min’s + was way too long for my family & friends. The body of water right in front of Kathy’s house was not big enough not to mention it was a narrower stretch of water, hence we had no alternative but to head down the longgg no wake river. The house: Probably the cleanest rental I have been in for quite sometime … talking “white glove clean.” The spa, bathrooms, bedrooms & kitchen to include exterior spaces was tidy, manicured at very practical. The interior spaces is perfect for large families seeking quiet time. IF, long wakes don’t bother you, I highly recommend renting Kathy’s house as the property is very suitable for children, teens & LARGE families as she supplies a volleyball court, corn hole, canoe, kayaks, stand up paddle boards, you name it Kathy has it. Applauds 👏👏👏 to Kathy as she really has this property dialed in!! Something to keep everyone active & entertained. Bonus- Kathy “offers” 2 boats as well. We rented our own as we were seeking more power to have the ability to pull a wake board. Unfortunately, the distance of travel through the no wake river consumed a lot of our families recreational time. Thank you 🙏 for everything!!!

Wonderful summer vacation
Kathy was an extremely helpful and kind host. She baked us a delicious pie using ingredients from her garden and also left us a s’mores basket. There was a fire built and ready for us the first night after a smooth check in process. She made herself available for any questions we had regarding the house, boat, or activities around town. She also provided a high chair for our son which made packing much simpler. Kathy provided so many activities and has such a beautiful property that I think everyone who stays here will enjoy. Thank you so much for hosting us!

Love this place
This is a beautiful house with an amazing view of the Cheboygan River. The hosts were very helpful & responsive. Through them, I bought balloons for my husband’s birthday party, as well as stocked the refrigerator with some perishables before our arrival. The hostess surprised us with a delicious homemade raspberry pie, too. Just an amazing experience.

Lovely vacation on the water
My family of four and my best friend’s family of four all shared this home for four nights before spending a few nights in Macinac Island. We loved the access to kayaks, paddle boards, canoe and life jackets. Kids tend to have like a 10 minute attention span so they could go for a quick kayak ride several times a day. We ate s’mores (which the supplies were kindly supplied by Kathy) on the beautiful back patio. We played volleyball using the net that was set up in the front yard. The kids enjoyed getting veggies from the garden. We all loved the hot tub on the deck. We brought our puppy and he had a blast at the house. He even made friends with the neighbor’s puppy. We made meals each night. The grocery store was close by. We did rent the pontoon boat which was nice for exploring. Captain Joe made sure we had everything we needed regarding the boat. The pie Kathy made for us was delicious. It was devoured pretty quick. Overall it was a lovely stay and we look forward to coming back.
