Stay with us at our newly renovated home and enjoy Logan Square's popular dining scene, vibe, and great location. You'll be able to gather in our 5-bedroom 4-bathroom home with all the amenities one would want for their home away from home. The house is fully stocked with all you’ll need for a short- or long-term stay including easy access to highways and a 15 minute walk to the blue line station.
The space
The main floor consists of a gathering area, dining area for 6, a small bedroom, and a beautiful chef's kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked and equipped for all your cooking needs.

The basement has a large sectional, perfect for lounging and watching YouTube TV on our 55-inch smart TV. A game area and table has been added to the downstairs floor recently, we know how necessary it is to have another space to congregate and make memoires during your stay. There is another bedroom/ bathroom on this floor and a gym area which you can use at your leisure.

The upstairs floor has 3 spacious and newly furnished bedrooms as well as 2 bathrooms.

My place is great for multiple families, business travelers, large groups, or couples! This duplex is situated on a residential street with planty of free street parking for your convenience. With comfortable and stylish furnishings I want you to feel this is your home away from home! In addition I provide the following amenities to all my guests.

- My cleaners are professionally trained and follow a tightly regimented cleaning and sanitizing checklist. They are equipped with a full complement of professional cleaning tools and chemicals including a hospital-grade disinfectant.
- Fresh towels and linens
- Wireless internet is always available
- TV with streaming options
- Kitchen appliances including a microwave, coffee pot with a reusable filter, tea kettle, and toaster
- I provide a keurig and coffee maker
- My place is FULLY STOCKED with all the amenities of home like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, paper towels, toilet paper, tissue, sponges, hand soap and dish soap.
-The full sized kitchen is stocked with cookware, utensils, glasses, cutlery, sharp knives, cutting boards, baking sheets and all the basic tools like wine openers, cheese graters, vegetable peelers, pizza cutters, etc.

Guest access
Guest will recieve a keypad code (keyads are located on the door) and guests will check in on their own, no assitance or in person interaction is required.
Other things to note
Unfortunately, during the pandemic, we had a significant rise in guests that want to rent the house for large gatherings / parties. Our home is meant for folks that are traveling for business, families visiting from out of state for holidays and guests interested in exploring the city, and small gatherings. It is not meant for large parties. We would like to see verifications and good reviews before renting the house. We do require all our inquiries contact us with details about their trip because want to insure the people renting are renting it for the right reasons.

Great Place!
There was plenty of room for all of us. The house is located in a great neighborhood with plenty to do and easy access to transportation. I was happy to be able to come back here to rest after a long day/ night.

Ruined by a rodent
"Newly renovated", not "newly built", with obvious shortcuts taken. 3.5 bathrooms, not 4. The grill was missing, likely stolen because the gates in the front and rear are not secured. Table top was secured with 1 bolt, which fell out. 2 floor vents on the main level were crushed making it difficult to cool the kitchen/dining area and the upstairs during a week of record high temps. There were 2 rat traps in the rear next to the house & garage. It's the city, so not surprising. However, there were rat droppings all over the garage, and on our 2nd to last day, my brother saw a rat in the kitchen. I messaged the property owner, who did respond quickly offering to arrange pest control to come that day, but did not apologize, offer any discount, or alternate lodging. After 45 min with Vrbo support, I was told that their policies do not provide any assistance unless I could provide photographic evidence of multiple rodents, not just their droppings and a visual sighting of one. I went back to the property owner and asked if she had any other comparable properties in the area that we could move into, and she did. She stated that the cleaners were there and would be done in 2 hours, to start packing so we'd be ready to relocate when they were done. After checking in several times, we were finally able to move properties 4 hours later in +100 degree heat with children and my 76 year old parents. We were not offered a single apology for our trouble and inconvenience.

We found out that this property was double booked right as we were about to check in. This meant multiple people from other parts of the world not having a place to stay after long flights. This was a huge inconvenience and resulted in a heavy cost as we had to look for new places to stay. Avoid!

Great location and space
We had a great stay at Sandy's house in Logan Square. The space was perfect for a small group business strategic planning. Good work spaces throughout the house and great location near local restaurants and a metro stop. The kitchen space is great, but it did lack a lot of the tools needed to cook (aluminum foil, oven mitts, spices etc.). It was very bare bones. There is a grocery store on the corner though!

Great Location
This property was perfectly located for us. The place is as pictured, and we found it to be very clean. There is actually a garage that we were not aware of. This is a great opportunity as street parking can be challenging. Wish we had known as we would have rented a car. Close to the 606 which is a great walking/running/biking trail. Only downside was lack of good kitchen cookware and knives, but only if you plan to prepare your own meals. Beds were very comfortable. One last recommendation, if you wear makeup bring your own washcloth or facial wipes, as they ask you not to use their towels for makeup removal. Again would have been nice to know before arriving. We would definitely come back to this location again.
