Escape to a historic 6-bedroom estate in downtown Glen Ellyn, IL!
The Dibble Estate is a designated historical landmark within Glen Ellyn's historic district. It was built in 1914 in a Spanish Mediterranean style – with beautiful cream colored stucco and a classic red tile roof. Frederick Dibble purchased the property (used primarily for horses at the time) from Moses Stacey, widely considered the founding father of what was then known as "Stacy's Corner" — later to be renamed "Glen Ellyn".
This home is built for large families and/or multiple families. It's great for gathering and entertaining, yet with plenty of nooks and crannies to find some alone time. The property has a lush and spacious outdoor garden and patio area that was featured in Better Homes & Gardens.
The Dibble Estate is undoubtedly one of the most iconic and admired homes by architects, historians, and community members in the Chicagoland area.
