"We stayed 2 nights in the cottage with our 2 children. We cottage is clean, comfortable and well equipped with just the right amount of things you might need during your stay. The welcome basket of teas and biscuits etc is a lovely touch. The grounds are beautiful and very peaceful. We had a 2 year old with us so we requested a stair-gate for the top of the stairs which was provided. It’s not actually a gate but a piece of wood which fixes to the wall but it does the job. "A nice modern caravan in a good location, close to town and the beach. It appeared a bit grubby in laces when we arrived so I have the work surfaces and some of the kitchen crockery/ glasses/ cups a rinse with hot soapy water as appeared a bit greasy/ fingerprint marks. Overall a pleasant stay."

"We were looking for somewhere special to celebrate my 50th birthday with some close friends and Old Oak Barn certainly provided that. The house was beautifully furnished, very clean and had some great amenities. The communication with the host was excellent, very informative and timely. I could not recommend this house enough in the beautiful Suffolk countryside."

"Our second visit but equally as good as the first. Cottage is cute and has everything you need. Peaceful area, can just hear the birds and the church bells, but only a few minutes walk to two pubs with good food. Excellent base for discovering the area. Host Christina is really communicative, helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend."

"The property is in a beautiful location, with plenty of space, natural light and fantastic views over the estuary. Kitchen is fairly well equipped but some of the crockery, glasses and utensils needed washing before use. General cleanliness wasn't great but the bed linen was clean and seating was comfortable. Large lounge diner was good for family use. This is a great place to escape to enjoy wildlife and botany."

"The property was clean, but the quality of bedding and kitchen stuff was just too basic. Absolutely shapeless and thin pillows, all same everywhere, so nothing to choose from. Utensils and plates are fresh from Tesco basic range still with stickers. Pans with anti stick bottoms scratched, which may be a health issue. I know it’s a caravan, and not much aspiration to be expected, but it might be just a tad bit better than a factory canteen."

"I wonderful little bit of heaven not far from beaches towns and pubs. Had a lovely weekend only thing I would say but this is personal preference I would put the living room tv in the bedroom and a bigger tv in the living room even with my glasses on I found it have to read the program list but like I said that's just me. Will still be rebookin very welcoming hosts and amazing place to stay."

"Perfect ‘get away from it all’ break. We were blessed with good weather but aside from that cannot fault the accommodation and location. If you want a quiet, peaceful time and somewhere a little ‘different’ then this place is perfect. Lots of nice walks in the countryside and close to places like Halesworth and Southwold.
