Unfortunately, the power was out half of our stay because of the hurricane but the house was still comfortable with many windows we could open and plenty of outdoor space to enjoy during the day. We thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit, grill and outdoor picnic area. We'd stay again if we are ever in the area! “

„Wonderful way to get away! It was quiet and clean! Great places to read, play games with family, and enjoy nature. The mountain air was clean. The area around the cabin is absolutely beautiful. „Another mom and I spent two nights in the Alone Mill Schoolhouse while our sons enjoyed a weekend tour of VMI. The house was close to campus and offered all the conveniences we needed. „This property has everything you could need, it is beautiful stocked. The property was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The only challenges are the road noise is loud in the 2 front bedrooms and the water pressure isn’t great. However, overall it was an ideal stay.“

„I wanted to go to the Omni bath house. This was a great location to relax with my friend and go for a soak there. On the way we stopped to see the waterfalls. It has 2 nicely appointed master suites on opposite sides of the main living area. I loved being by the river my only complaint was the weather. I would love to visit during warmer days to enjoy the outside “
