„Communication from the owners was poor right up until the day of check in. I made contact a few days before we were due to stay, to understand the process of check in. After reading my messages, they totally ignored them and we had to call the night before to make sure that our booking was actually in place. „Family and friend gathering. 9 adults over 50 years old. We enjoyed being on the Themes and spent our time outside. The house is not meant for that many adults even though it has 5 bedrooms. Many of the beds were too short and one room is clearly a children’s room. The place needs some TLC on furniture, rugs, beds (sag in middle) and outdoor cleanliness…lots of spider webs. „We had absolutely no heating. I tried several times to contact the owner by email, messenger and by phoning her. No reply. I had been in contact with her regarding check in via email and messenger, I even sent a photo of the temperature in the house. 10 degrees. I had to source 2 radiators myself, which a kind neighbour lent us. I would like a refund for our inconvenience “

„wow wow wow. our stay was exceptional in all ways from the serenity of the beautiful countryside and hearing the sounds of the sheep cows and horses. The cottage was very spacious and well equipped and exceptionaly clean with very high standards in all the furnishings Farmer Tim and his wife were delightful people and very accommodating. we asked for a tea pot. next there there is a tea pot waiting for us at our front door nothing wa to much trouble for them. we will definitely be retuning ...

„Just back from a wonderful weekend! Hamish was the perfect host. The best welcome pack ever !!!! Pictures do not do little Hideaway justice. I don’t think there would be anything you could need or want and it not be there. Absolutely Spotless and in a perfect location. We cannot recommend highly enough and given the opportunity will be back.“

„We stayed at the micro studio on the first floor. It was a clean room with a well equipped kitchen and a huge bathroom. Unfortunately, the room was opposite to the staff rooms and sleeping longer than 7:30 was not possible. During our stay, a water leak occurred which soaked the first floor hallway but luckily didn’t affect the our room. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. I’d stay there again but not in the first floor.“
