„We booked on short notice so we could participate in the Rice Moon freighter canoe tour that night at Point Pelee. Communication with the owner went smoothly and the place was sweet: simple and nice furnishings, clean and very spacious. It needed a bit of an air out when we got there but all else was very good. :)“

„Place was clean, well appointed, easy to access, very quiet. I had some wifi issues that host went above and beyond to solve. The only critique I would suggest is a larger TV as the sitting room is quite large and there’s possibly 20+ feet to the TV. Us older gentleman need the visual help. Would stay again when visiting family in the area.“

„We were so pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the Cedar House for our stay while our son was married in nearby Kingsville. The cottage is bright, super clean, so comfortable with a wonderful backyard oasis fronted by a river with kayaks and fishing, our grandsons were kept as busy as they wanted to be. Everything we could imagine needing was available. The cottage was quiet and peaceful and nestled in a garden sanctuary of flowering bushes and plants! We look forward to another visit!“

„We stayed here with our sons, their wives and our 4 grandchildren. The property suited us perfectly in terms of space, location and facilities. The shallow beach was fantastic for the kids! „We enjoyed the house it provided the relaxing atmosphere our family needed before starting the hustle of school and sports. House is beautiful from the moment you step in and view Lake Erie. Neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the deck right on the water. Our boys enjoyed fishing in the marsh areas down the street and playing in the lake at the nearby beach area. All within a 2 minute walk from the property. Will definitely be back soon. “

„We had a beautiful stay with 6 kids and 4 adults. The house was super clean, roomy and exactly if not better than described. We had a little hiccup at check in but easily addressed by Paul who was very communicative! We loved the front and back porch for coffee and the hot tub for relaxation. We will be back. “

„Amazing! Had the best time. Loved watching the ships, boats, and airplanes on a daily basis. Sunsets were incredible!! Only thing we didnt love was access to water, was a bit difficult getting up and down the ladder. The town of Amherstburg is a beautiful town, with lots to do...and just a short drive away!“

„A delightful little cottage on the shore of Lake Erie, just a mile or two from Point Pelee's entrance. Super clean and comfortable. Excellent mattresses and bedding! Surprisingly big backyard equipped with a fire pit and plenty of comfortable lawn chairs for viewing the stars or the waves crashing on the beach. Responsive host wants to make sure you have a great stay. Highly recommended! “
