„We stayed at this home Christmas week. It proved the perfect base for family aged 87 to 16. There was room enough for everyone to spread out. Commuications were excellent and host was very responsive. Our goal was to be able to have both traditional holiday dinners and gatherings and the adventure of exploring monuments and museums.The set up would also be convenient for families with younger children. If you want plush spa towels and fine linens - like you might expect at a hotel - bring them. ...

„Unsere ursprüngliche Buchung wurde kurzfristig gecancelt und Jen war sehr hilfreich uns kurzfristig Ihr Appartement zur Verfügung zustellen. Alles lief sehr effektiv und problemlos zu einem guten Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Die Wohnung ist auf zwei Etagen und ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Die Lage ist sehr schön, weil in der zweiten Reihe einer Hauptstraße in der Altstadt. Also mittendrin aber doch ruhig. Die Kommunikation via Text war immer sehr schnell und Jen hat uns alle Fragen ...

„The home was very clean and comfortable. The coffee bar was great! Groceries, restaurants and the Metro train all within a 20 min walk! And the owner was very available to us via text. We loved our visit! We would have appreciated a heads up to the no shoe rule more than 24 hours in advance as we drove and were already on the road, so we didn't have the opportunity to pack slippers. „From start to finish this was just about as superb an experience as one could wish for. Finding this gem of a spot on VrBO and reaching out, found rapid and complete response from the hosts. Checking in was a breeze, all the pre-check in information was spot on (including some great tips about things nearby). The home is appointed beautifully, incredibly comfortable and the lushness of the towels alone was delightful. Definitely bookmarking this spot and plan to visit again!“

„This was the perfect location and size for our family of 4 to use as a base camp to explore greater DC. The walk to King Street or the Waterfront was 10-15 minutes or less. The Metro station was 10 minutes or less. There was a Trader Joe’s about 2 blocks away. Loved the location and the neighborhood vibe. Look forward to visiting again.“

„Perfect place to stay when visiting DC. We were about 20 minutes from downtown but felt like we were at a retreat when we were at the house. Loved sitting by the fire outside and listening/watching the wildlife. Saw all kind of birds & a buck and doe were grazing every morning. House had plenty of room for all of us. Grocery & restaurants nearby, we cooked most of our dinners at the house and had everything we needed. Cam is an excellent host and was available whenever we had any questions.“

„The hotel has a modern lobby, but don’t let that fool you, the rest is very outdated. Generally speaking that wouldn’t bother me, if they didn’t advertise their hotel as modern. The rooms were very disgusting. The bedsheets hadn’t been changed, and the towels smelt very bad. The carpets are not nice, and the kitchen floor was really sticky and hadn’t been cleaned in a while.
