This Property Needs Attention
Check in was fine. When we arrived. No Wi-Fi. So I called the owners contact and a nice lady told me the router was controlled by the property next door and she would call them (odd!) . Then we noticed the dishwasher had not been run. When we ran it water came out on the kitchen floor. When we looked under the sink there was a pot of moldy water that had been there for a long time. We moved the pot under the sink leak and then the whole bottom floor of the house smelled of mold because we had a mold “bloom” from the old water. We dumped the water outside and the dishwasher continued to leak. The dishes in the cabinet were also dirty. Pots had food still on them. No toilet pape. Missing curtains in one of the bedrooms. Broken lamp shades. Obviously no one is taking care of this place because a leak was noted in the comments months ago. I contacted the owner and told him we were leaving and we could not stay and cook in that kitchen all weeekend He was very rude to me via text and refused To refund me. I have pictures of the grossness

Great location in german village. House is simple, clean, and allows for sleeping of 12. Great cantina next door with amazing margaritas and food. We will definitely reserve for all.of our future columbus outings!

Lack of posted amenities
The building and location were great. We were disappointed that the house had several issues, such as only one towel per person for 5 days, no wash cloths or hand towels, the toilet paper ran out, the internet did not work for our phones and the tv, the ice maker was broken, and the freezer leaked water. Hopefully these items will be fixed.

My friends and I meet every year to watch an Ohio State football game in the Shoe. We always stay in a short term rental around Columbus. Prior to the game, we like to watch the other football games on TV. This wasn't possible at this property as the internet was not working from the moment we arrived. I addressed this concern with the owner who waited 24 hours to respond. They attempted to fix the issue by asking me to go to their adjoining property to reset the router. This solution didn't work. We were not presented with any further solutions and were forced to leave the property to watch the games at a nearby bar.

Several attempt were made to receive check in instructions. This included a call to support. Instructions were finally sent the afternoon prior to check in. Upon arrival the door to the second floor was shut therefore no air conditioning circulation upstairs in 99 degree heat. No coffee filters, no basic condiments for cooking. Ice machine was broken and the refrigerator leaked. No wi-fi as advertised. The floors in every VRBO we stay are dirty; never wet mopped.

GOOD STAY ONCE WE GOT IN
PROPERTY MANAGER EMAILED THE WRONG CODE TO THE DOOR. I EXTENDED MY STAY FOR ONE NIGHT AND COULD NOT GET INTO THE PROPERTY BECAUSE OF THE CODE. MYSELF AND MY 6 KIDS ENDED UP SLEEPING IN THE CAR OUTSIDE OF THE PROPERTY BECAUSE WE COULDN'T GET IN TOUCH WITH THE PROPERTY MANAGER. AFTER WE GOT IN AT 9AM THE NEXT MORNING, THE STAY WAS GOOD.

House is shown accurately but needs improvements
Everything with reservation and check in process went fine. The location as shown on VRBO is accurate. But the site needs work. The interior was dirty. The lower bath vanity is falling apart and the trim on the walls is loose. The kitchen cabinet press board is swollen with moisture, and the appliances are old or not fully functioning and the windows are covered in cobwebs. The air conditioning unit is insufficient to cool the upstairs. In general, it was just no clean and shabby. Our friends stayed very close by on another street and had a much better experience and cleaner rental. I would not recommend this rental unit.

A nice weekend
On entering, the property is a wonderful old world house. Wonderful floors, door trim, warm feeling. With it being an older home, i expected some quirkiness.. I didn't expect ants in the kitchen sink and in the window by the sink. There was a sign on the freezer side of the refrigerator that said the ice maker was broken. No big deal, except water started to leak on the floor, every once in a while. On the day we were leaving, clean up was being done in the kitchen. While running dish water, it was noticed that water was running out on the floor. The water was flowing from the sink, through the garbage disposal (which wasn't used) into the dishwasher (which wasn't used.) The water was cleaned up and the rug was taken to the basement, as it got wet. I tried calling the property management and left messages. My call was not returned. Other than that, I had a good stay.

We loved our stay in this beautiful home in the Brewery District. It’s located in a walkable, safe area with restaurants, coffee shops, and bars so there’s something for everyone. We were really pleased with how comfortable the beds were - all of us slept really well. Thanks for the great stay!

Great deal in German Village
This was a great property for a weekend getaway. We had 7 total guests and the bed/bath combination was great. The kitchen table/chairs and silverware were lacking for more than 4 guests, but we made it work. The property is conveniently located in German Village and within walking distance to the Brewery District, local shops, and restaurants. The street noise was a little loud in the front lower level bedroom, but it was manageable. The description mentioned a sofa bed in the living room, but there was a cot in one of the bedrooms instead. Overall we were happy with this rental!

I like the old look of the house. It is kid friendly. Suggestion: please fix ice maker; also, a house that large especially for a family, more tvs would be nice especially with the cold weather. It was the perfect location for my needs. I will likely book again.

The photos and discription of the property are accurate. A few small details that would enhance the experience- Tightening up the cabinet knobs Can’t see the parking numbers due to overgrown bushes. Small things Would definitely stay there again.
