Welcome to the Cabin in the Clouds. A Stunning custom contemporary log cabin with breathtaking top-of-the-world views and attached guesthouse. This mountain haven is built atop a rock outcropping with 360 views of the Rocky Mountains, including iconic Pikes Peak and Mt. Rosalie. Entering this beautiful home, you are welcomed by a bubbling brook, exploring the 40-acre property, you will find aspen groves, gorgeous overlooks, private hiking and snowshoe trails, and a mountain climbers paradise.
At the top, you are greeted by a beautiful log home with a massive multi-level wrap around deck to soak in the views. Inside, you will be wowed by the warmth and beauty of the modern log interior w/vaulted wood ceilings, wood floors and floor to ceiling windows. Log pillars span the distance of both floors. The living room has a wide screen TV to watch a movie with rh family or you can see and look out at the large picture frame windows and gaze a Pike’s Peak.
The kitchen features granite counters and updated appliances. The open floor plan includes kitchen, dining, and living spaces and a centrally located wood stove. Next, you will find an updated full bathroom, a conveniently located main floor laundry room, and two bedrooms. The fist bedroom has a queen while the second can be used as an office or with a twin trundle a bedroom.
Upstairs, a loft overlooks the main living space giving you a bird’s eye view of the stunning mountain surroundings. From here, enter the spacious master bedroom with a queen bed, featuring a bay window, 2 private decks, and an updated 3/4 ensuite bathroom with steam shower, marble counter and floors.
A walkway connects the main house to the private guest house above the detached three car garage. Here you will find a kitchen, living room, sleeping nook, with a queen, and a 3/4 bathroom.
A carved bear log pillar adds to the charm of this space.
This home comes with a 3-car garage and has space for 1 more cars for a total of 4.

Conifer is near Evergreen, Bailey, Pine, Aspen Park and Morrison and less than an hour form downtown Denver.

Charming, historic “downtown” Evergreen is a quick drive from the house. Settled in 1859, it retains much of its old west charm. Dining options are a plenty as well as wonderful & unique shopping, music, galleries, & nightlife.

Red Rocks Amphitheater is 30-mins away. Besides being a great concert venue, it's gorgeous, & ideal for hiking.

Breckenridge Ski Mountain is about a 90-minute drive from this home.

**HOUSE RULES:**
Maximum occupancy: 8 - children must be counted in the max. occupancy unless they are under two (2) & are sleeping in a portable crib* (not provided). Our permit allows for a max of 4 cars to park in the driveway. Tenant stated on Agreement/Booking must be at least twenty-five (25) years-old and acknowledges that they will occupy the Property during the entire tenancy.

**During the months of November through April a 4 wheel drive vehicle, with snow tires, is mandatory.**

Smoking of any kind is not permitted in any short-term rental in Jefferson County Colorado.
Please do not smoke anything inside or outside the home.

No parties or events without prior written approval.
Please be mindful of neighbors - noise travels in the mountains.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

We follow a strict cancellation policy on all websites.

If you must cancel your reservation, please be aware that cancellations must occur at least 30 days prior to arrival date. If cancellation occurs 30 days or more prior to arrival date all monies will be refunded with the exception of a $100 administrative fee. GUESTS THAT DO NOT CANCEL WITHIN THE 30-DAY TIME FRAME WILL BE CHARGED THE FULL AMOUNT. Travel Insurance is recommended, especially when traveling in the winter in CO.
