SAFETY:
• It is very important to close and latch the hot tub cover when not in use, and when you check out, as it poses a safety hazard. The hot tub cover has a sensor and will not heat if the cover is open and people are not in the tub.
• Keep fires contained in provided fire pit on the beach (firewood for sale in shed). Fires must be attended at all times. Fires must be fully extinguished when not attended. No accelerants can be used. NH requires burn permits, print one here: https://nh.burnsafeamerica.com
• Fireworks are illegal in Conway. Sparklers, firecrackers, etc., should be used on the beach and away from the house/patio.
• Place trash in the receptacles behind the barn doors at the end of the shed, and not outside, on the porches/decks, or in your car, as this can attract wildlife and bears. Keep the doors to the garbage area closed.
THINGS TO KNOW:
• Please do not access any of the locked “owner’s closets.”
• Do not remove linens/towels from our home. The white towels are meant for interior use only and the blue towels are meant for the beach/hot tub.
• Please turn off the hose/spigot after use.
• Dogs must remain in yard when off leash. Their waste must be picked up.
• No smoking in our home, please do not throw cigarette butts on the ground.
• There is no parking on the lawn or under the shed.
• Turn off propane to the grill when not in use.
• The hot tub pillows are not meant to be removed. Please let us know if you accidentally remove one.
• Please close doors and windows when it rains or when you’re not in our home i.e. checkout.
• Return kayaks, canoes, paddles, and lifejackets to their racks when not in use, opening side down as to not collect water.
• The lawn is clover and meant to grow a little long, flower, and feed the pollinators.
• Oversized bags of kiln dried firewood (large and medium logs with split kindling) are provided by an outside vendor for $10.00/bundle. Please use the QR code to pay before removing firewood.
Winter:
• Now that it’s winter the exterior spigots have been turned off and cannot be used to fill the tub mid-stay. Please avoid overflowing or splashing water out of the hot tub.
• Overflowing or excessive splashing can drop the water level below the intake, which prevents proper filtration and heating. This may lead to tub damage.
• Our snow removal company services the property once per storm or after every 6” of snowfall. They plow the driveway, shovel the walkway to the left of the house, and sand and salt. Unfortunately, we cannot control the timing of their arrival.
• When the snow removal team arrives, please move all vehicles to allow for full clearing.
• While we ensure the property is prepared for your arrival, guests may need to clear additional snow during their stay. To make it easy, shovels, sand, and salt are thoughtfully provided at each entrance.
• We do not clear the walkway to the right of the house (leading to the kitchen entrance) or the porch and stairs off the kitchen—please use the entrances and walkways on the left of the house.
• Please do not use the porch off the kitchen or the yard between the walkway and the house on the roadside of the house, as these areas pose a risk of falling snow and ice and are not cleared during winter.
Please share this information with your entire party and confirm that they have read it. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation, and we hope you enjoy a wonderful getaway!
