„We booked the cottage last minute on our way to the east coast after our previously booked lodging cancelled. The owner was quick to respond and the property worked perfect for our needs. It was a nice place to relax for the evening and get some sleep before we got back on the road. The kennel was also great for the dogs after a long day in the car! We did note there is one panel shorter than the rest right along the dog house structure. We were only there for one night and didn't look around ...

„It was our first family cabin trip and we loved the experience. The property was nice and spacious and fit the 9 of us there. We were 3 teens and 6 adults and were able to fit in the main cabin. We also checked out oil creek state park. Our only issue was the low heat when using the stove for cooking. 9/10 would recommend. “

„We loved staying in this beautiful old house! We enjoyed the character of the old house and the new updates! The bedrooms were beautifully decorated! We also enjoyed the game room. Only problem is that it is not handicap accessible. It would be nice if that was listed on the online description. We would highly recommend this house to others.“

„If you want peace and quiet with nobody around, then this is the place for you. The facilities in the house are great, but the grounds are great, too. Both the front and the back offer privacy, with a fire ring out back. It is a very short drive to Lake Wilhelm, making this property a nice base of operations if you are into flat water kayaking, fishing, etc. “

„My husband was in an accident right before we were supposed to stay here. I sent a message to the hosts just let them know we wouldn’t be there for our stay and the host was SO kind about it. The host offered us to reschedule our stay. We were so shocked and grateful because we were so excited to stay at this beautiful spot but were way past the cancellation period. I will always support kind and giving people and will absolutely be booking here again in the future. Thank you guys so much!“

„My wife and I were visiting the area to enjoy the fall foliage. The cabin was a wonderful place to stay. Good location to access the area. Abundant wildlife The cabin was clean and comfortable. The hosts did were responsive and friendly. Would stay there again.“

„Our stay was quite nice! We enjoyed our time at the cabin . The space was amazing and very clean. We did have a ton of lady bug beattle visitors in the cabin but they liked the light and mostly didn't bother us. The outdoors is lovely too. Huge place for a family with the basic necessities you could need. The listing did say there was a got tub on the property which there isn't but the host took care of us with that. Overall it was a nice getaway from the city.“

„My wife and I are vendors at a local event and try to stay in locally owned B&Bs as well as VRBO establishments rather than hotels. This property was one of our favorites. It was exactly what was advertised, off the beaten path, quiet and relaxing. The owner was fantastic with communication and the place was very clean and inviting. I highly recommend it. Thank you for offering this place. We'll be staying here again next year.“

„The property overall was great for the purpose of my family to gather. It was large enough to host a Thanksgiving gathering. The property was clean and in orderly fashion when we arrived. „Fantastic home for a weekend or longer. Has everything you need and plenty of space. Very comfortable and conveniently located while not being in a super busy area. Overall rating was 4 stars because one bedroom was quite chilly (I couldn’t find the air vent to open it, if there was one) and the furnace is loud when it kicks on. We recommended this house to our family for our niece’s college graduation- definitely would stay there again!“
