„Great little family get away for a few adult siblings and spouses. Thomas was very accommodating when we needed something. Nice place to sit outside and there was hiking close by. We also got to watch the eclipse and the owners provided viewing glasses which was an added bonus. “

„The property is nestled in the Medina mountains in an 11 room resort and spa. The owners met with us each night sharing stories, laughs, wine and food. In the morning we hiked up the mountain trail to a cabin with a back deck that overlooked the hillside. If you want peace, quiet, no children and good old fashion conversation you will not find any better than Escondida Resort. The entire staff is humble, courteous and good people to share a cup of coffee or a laugh. I highly recommend this ...

„Very nice personal touches. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay very nice. It was my Birthday weekend and they even bought me a gift. They had homemade baked muffins that were so delicious. We felt right at home. I would recommend to anyone wanting to escape the city but, to be conveniently located to the nearby towns. This is a hidden gem, and the owners are very sweet.“

„Quaint little cottage on beautiful property, with shared pool and right across road from Guadalupe River. Loved the wallpapers and carved wooden furniture. Was great to have a comfy holiday home where our dog was welcome. In the mornings we enjoyed sitting on the screened porch with lovely view of nature, or down in the dry creek, before the heat of the day got to us. Check-in was very simple, and we lacked nothing during the stay.“
