„We had a delightful weekend at this beautiful country hotel. It is the ideal place to recharge your batteries, quiet, well kept, our room had an excellent en suite with a walk in shower. The staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant serves excellent meals and the breakfasts are very good too. There is a well kept garden area with tables and chairs where one can relax. Uppingham and Oakham are a short drive away. We will visit again, definitely.“

„Lovely pub with friendly staff. Room was delightful, although I wish I'd read the description better as didn't realise the bath meant no shower, also a bit of a climb if you want the kingsize bed. Bed was comfy and thankful for the bottles of water provided and great coffee bags. „14 of us enjoyed a family weekend in The Old Cart Barn and The Granary set in the most beautiful countryside. On arrival Laura, the owner, met us and was very helpful. Our enclosed garden was ideal for our 2 dogs. The kitchens in both buildings were very well equipped with everything we needed and there was plenty of seating for all of us in The Old Cart Barn both inside and out. We all had dinner on Saturday night at The Fox and Hounds in nearby Riseley which was delicious. We highly recommend ...
