„This property was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the scenic beauty of Watkins Glen. Not only was Dave incredibly attentive during our stay but also gave us recommendations on where to explore around the town and hikes near by. The cabin was equipped with cooking material and wood for the fire (which we really enioyed). „The house was in a convenient location to several of the wineries we wanted to visit and a comfortable size for the two of us. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to use the back porch and private yard because of the cold and snow, but it would be wonderful during nice weather. Our only issue was with the road noise. The house is directly on Highway 14, which makes for noticeable road noise during the day, but better at night with less traffic. “

„Lovely location close to many wineries and an easy drive to Watkins Glen or Ithaca. Plenty of beds, seating and a large kitchen. Enjoyed the fire pit. We had two issues (water and plumbing) which were inconvenient for us, but Paul was easy to communicate with and quick to address them. “

„We'd probably stay here again, but we did have a few small issues. One is the Nest thermostat being a bit wonky at times, resulting in some rooms being way hotter than others. Even with closing vents off in certain rooms. Another being I wish they left more empty drawers and closet space. „Nice place on the lake, very quiet and private, everything is included in the rental, nothing really to bring (except keurig coffee pods) Plenty of room we had a family of 8 including small children. „We just returned from an amazing post-Christmas getaway with another family. The house was just as described - so inviting, tastefully decorated, and well appointed. The beds were so comfortable, too! You can’t beat the view or location, as it’s directly on the lake and less than 5 minutes to about 10 wineries and breweries. Will absolutely be back!“
