I want to start off by saying that with everything in the North Central Arkansas area there is to do-shopping, hiking, sight-seeing, fishing, floating, eating, music fests, etc, the Terra Cotta house in Cotter is as near-perfect a location to stay as you can possibly find. The only issue? This little slice of heaven is so inviting that from the moment you step onto the front porch, you aren't going to want to do much more than grab your favorite book and a mug of coffee or tall glass of lemonade, and never leave this very well-appointed home away from home.
The location is very easy to find, the street is quiet. Neighbors all were very friendly but kept their distance so as to allow us to relax. The furnishings are very comfortable, and the water pressure makes for a refreshing shower. The kitchen is stocked with almost any gadget you could possibly need and there is even a Culligan water filtration system. The metal roof is music to your ears during a rainshower. Beds are divine, and I want to take the couch home with me, ha!
William and Stephanie are almost immediately responsive to messages, and while we did not get to meet them in person, they made us feel welcome before we ever even checked in.
For a couple, or even more if you don't mind sharing one bathroom, this is just absolutely the most perfect home. We come to the area every year, and we will definitely be staying at the Terra Cotta Home our next trip up to the area and for as long as it is available to rent in the future!
