„On the down side: It's VERY dark in the house. Other than kitchen & bath, lighting is poor. Walls are all dark which attributes to the lighting issue. The house is too beautiful to have such a gloomy look. Poor instructions from owner. Unable to discard trash as garage was locked. Unfamiliar with propane, I could only get one burner to work on the stove. No cleaning supplies were available for me to use if needed. Bring a wand if you want to watch television. „We stayed 6 days, my wife, daughter and friend, and our two dogs. Roomy and clean, very beautiful cottage. Fully appointed kitchen with all the supplies one needs. We built a fire in the big handsome fireplace, also with all the tools needed. We appreciated the choice of two dining areas, we pretty much stuck to the breakfast nook. Every morning we dropped the girls at Jay Peak, then myself, wife and dogs, hiked, relaxed, napped and enjoyed the quiet. Would love to do it again!“

„My family and I had a great stay at this charming cottage. Our youngest enjoyed playing in the yard and making friends with the animals. We enjoyed the fresh eggs in the fridge (nice touch!). „The house has a great set-up. There is a lot of room for the kids to move around. Beds were clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well set-up except for needing a couple more glasses. We had a couple issues during the stay and the host could have been better at communicating. Good location.“

„We visited for some late spring skiing and had a fantastic trip! Deb was incredibly responsive and helpful and the condo was immaculate. My kids loved the bunk beds and watching the groomer go by from the deck. The condo was right on the trail and even with (very) spring conditions there was still enough snow to ski out. We absolutely plan on visiting again.“

„Rented the place in mid-oct for a second-marriage honeymoon. The place was easy to find and was set up perfectly for a two person cozy stay. House faces the sunset and has a deck and sitting porch. Brought my little boat and the boating access is across the street. We had zero issues. We would definitely come back!! Definitely worth it. 👌 “

„This is a good house in a good location, but has a few problems:1. It needs much, much better lighting. In the middle of a Vermont winter, when we were there, it is dark about 14 hours a day, and yet this house has woefully inadequate lighting. The house needs AT LEAST 2X the number of lamps it currently has. To make the problem even worse, many of the lamps it does have are dim, and many are missing functioning bulbs. 2. „This house is pristine! It is so beautiful and cozy. The hot tub and outdoor space is wonderful...so relaxing and wonderful. Only complaint is the bunk beds were so uncomfortable that the girls chose to sleep on the couch instead and that the hot tub was....kind of dirty! And it smelled bad. Otherwise, everything was absolutely wonderful. We would stay there again - just hoping that the hot tub is maintained better and maybe the bunk bed room gets new beds?“
