„Good: great location, plenty of parking, very clean, plenty of room in the house for our group, well equipped kitchen, nice hot tub, great showers. Awesome mud room. Friendly, communicative owners. Not so great: Our check-in process was a bit of a hassle because we were given the wrong door code, several kitchen appliances didn’t work, you are asked to take your garbage to an off site garbage disposal location. “

„This past week was our best experience using VRBO and the property hosts, Tony and Tracy Harris. Everything was top drawer, plates, cutlery etc.etc. all in great supply. The highlight for us was the community pool that was 50 metres from our west facing back deck that our 5 grandchildren, the oldest at 8, spent hours and hours swimming in. We would highly recommend this property for a family getaway. “

„A lovely place to stay. The Elk River flows right behind the unit. You can fish right off your backyard or just relax and watch it flow by. The unit is spacious, clean and very well appointed. Excellent location for exploring both the upper and lower Elk River areas. “

„This house is in a quiet neighborhood with little traffic allowing our toddler grandson and the dogs to safely be outside. The gate in the backyard opens to multiple trails which we used daily for dog walks and a walk to the little nearby park. Inside everything was clean and featured the most well equipped kitchen I've seen in a rental. The primary bedroom was spacious and all the beds were very comfortable. „The place was very clean, spacious, and great location near resort. Check in and out instructions were easy. Hot tub was a great addition. However, it definitely has a couple of kinks to work out. Dishwasher wasn’t working which was a huge pain with a large group and barely a drying rack. Trash can was under the sink (inconvenient when someone is constantly doing dishes) and incredibly tiny. „We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Ambers lake house. We didn’t want to go back home. So many wonderful memories we have made here. S’mores by the fire. Hot tub relaxing, paddle boarding, and the list goes on. Absolutely loved all the room in the house and the beds were super comfortable. You can tell Amber and her husband have put in a lot of work into their lake house. We hope to be back next year!“
