Honestly? It's a no from me
At check-in, the floors were covered in a greasy, slippery residue, leaving footprints and turning our socks black. So dirty that I didn't want my young kids to play on the floor. After a long drive, cleaning someone else's grime is the last thing a guest should have to do, but I mopped the floors myself. The water that came up was filthy. Messaged the host who didn't apologize, instead demanded to know why the Wi-Fi was off. Said they'd never had an issue with dirty floors before but vaguely offered to 'rectify' it at checkout. Shoulda been a red flag. It took 1.5 to 2 hours to mop it all.We stayed for 5 nights. The rental was mediocre--no extras provided, only the bare minimum. Key kitchen items were missing, one roll of paper towels provided and not so much as a bottle of 409 to clean any surfaces. Signs taped up throughout with dos and don'ts. On a loud, busy street. Uncomfy couches, and maintenance issues like a leaky faucet and ants. None of these things are unforgivable per se, but they add up to an unwelcoming vibe.At checkout, the host gaslit us, telling us the cleaning crew cleaned the floors before we arrived (so we were imagining the grime we found?). Reluctantly offered a fraction of the cleaning fee back, since the crew 'does more than just mop'. Guests deserve better.The awful customer service overshadowed any good aspects of the rental. It was dirty at check-in, uncomfortable, and the host was indifferent to our experience. We wish we had stayed elsewhere.
