Westholme is a charming, 19th-century cottage, tucked away in the heart of the picturesque village of St Fillans retaining several its original features. As you approach the house you are welcomed by a lovely front garden and driveway with space for two cars. You enter the house via a sun porch which is a real sun trap in the summer and an ideal spot to bird watch in the spring. Downstairs there is a comfortable living room and a spacious dining room, leading into the fully equipped galley-style kitchen with adjacent toilet. The back door leads to the annex and back garden. The annex accommodates the washing machine and dryer. Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a bathroom. The garden is large and planted with mature shrubs, bulbs and beautiful wisteria. There is a generous sized lawn, outdoor furniture and plenty of space to eat al fresco. Outside you can admire Ben Lorvic in the distance and listen to the bird song.
Take a stroll to the end of the road and you will find yourself on the edge of the River Earn, just as it opens out onto the stunning Loch Earn. With tea rooms, a village shop, bar and restaurant all within walking distance, this is an amazing place to come and relax. There are numerous activities for young and old, active and sedate, and everyone in between! Hiking, biking, water sports, angling, golf, bird watching and visiting local sites of interest are all within easy reach. Pub and restaurant ¾ mile.
