„The house and accommodations are wonderful! I’m sure when there aren’t floods and high waters, the lake is beautiful too. My daughter loved the loft room that is spacious and great for a pre-teen! We had a couple of beautiful days to enjoy some cave tours and hiking at Mammoth Cave. The unfortunate flooding caused closures in the parks our last day. . We would definitely return!!“

„It is a very cute and cozy house. The view of the water was beautiful and we even collected some wood to Have a fire on the patio in the fireplace. Pretty secluded so make sure you get food to cook before you start your trip to the property there is not a lot of anything close by. “

„My husband and I stayed a few days with our teens and dog. The property is beautiful! We all enjoyed hiking over the 75 acres. The self made map was so helpful. Our tween daughter was our navigator on our hike and managed the map easily. Our dog loved the freedom of exploring with us. We did manage to make it to Mammoth Cave and it was a fun trip. Spent the rest of our short trip grilling and playing games. Definitely recommend! “

„It’s nice and tucked back in some beautiful trees. The place was clean and pretty much exactly what we were looking for. The only drawback is as a very firm master suite mattress, but some folks love that! The communication with the hosts was fantastic and they did a pretty good job of leaving instructions for things. I’d stay here again. “

„We stayed here with three families of four and it was a great fit! Six couples with six kids ages 3-13. They all had fun and even the adults enjoyed the old school arcade games. We made use of the pizza oven as well which was a real treat! Took the owners advice and used the ferry to get to Mammoth Cave, saved time and was a fun experience!“

„What a great place full of adventures. We ended up arriving a little early, the owners were still there and offered to take us around to see the property. Showed us where the best places to hike were.Had everything we needed to relax and tool around for a couple of days. “

„The property is very nice and I enjoyed the stay. The only problem I had was that when I arrived there was not enough internet service to open the email to get the door code. I had to drive into cave city to open the email. In the future I will write that down before I get to the problem. I realize this is a problem you can’t fix. „This home was perfect for our yearly family getaway. We had kids ranging from 0-10, each family had their own space. We loved the lakeview. Only downfall was most things to do were 35mins or more away.“
