Hannaford nearby for groceries, 20 mins to downtown Burlington, and plenty of snow activities in the area. The hosts were friendly and very responsive. We enjoyed our weekend getaway here.“

„Directions in binder where private Sandy Beach is located...( Path by railroad tiles ...just passed the crossing Oil all door hinges ..that way won't wake up others that are still sleeping...since no AC in bedrooms have to leave doors open to be comfortable in the bedrooms. Remote died and no AAA batteries, so went and bought some at DG store New grill ..that one worked but not hot only front part had flames...no way to cook food for 5 people. Door code only work to get in...so couldn't lock ...

What it didn't describe well enough was how fantastic the views of the lake were from the primary bedroom at sunrise. Michael was a wonderful host and we couldn't have had a better small family gathering at his place. He was kind, considerate and generous and a really interesting person. „Our family (4 of us) meet each Christmas in Port Kent as our son has a farm closeby on Mace Chasm road. This is our 2nd year in a row and we want to rent it next Christmas. Only problem is that there was no water-hot or cold in the kitchen. Pipes frozen. Water-hot and cold in rest of the house. Pipes need thermal tape. We were told that this often happens.
