„This is a very cozy and private place to stay. The amenities, the appliances, the furniture, the wood stove, the fire pit, and the wi-fi was all great and easily accessed and usable. It was nice, clean, and modern. The fold out sofa bed sleeps good. I got to watch deer grazing in the tree farm on the hill. The road in was doable with my extended cab, long bed, dually 2 wheel drive, even after the 10 hours of rain.“

„Would definitely recommend. The Midge is a super cute cabin. It was very clean and the fire pit was a definite plus. With the porch lights off you can see a gazillion stars. No views like that in the city. The walking trails are great and go right by the river and its always fun to ride up to the dam where it feels like you're on top of the world. May stay here again on my next visit home.“

It had clearly been “spot” cleaned, but we found stained, dirty sheets, dishes with food still on them and dirty bathrooms. There is an infestation of smallish black spiders in the master bedroom and bathroom. We had no communication from the owners, instead found notes left around the property with instructions. „The cabin was cozy, warm and welcoming! We rented both sides for an extended family stay which worked out well, having two kitchens and slightly separated sleeping spaces. But for those renting one side, it would work out just as well. The family room is located on the lowest level of each cabin but works out just as well.
