"Couldn’t ask for a more peaceful place. Beautiful views. Larry, the host, was great. There was almost anything you needed that was supplied by Larry. Different shampoos, conditioners, fishing gear, coffee and many other things. Cabin is perfect for 1 or 2 people."

"My sister and I chose a half-way destination for a short trip. Since we both live in large cities, we enjoyed the privacy and location of this cabin. We brought our outdoor chairs and enjoyed viewing the trees from the back deck. The kitchen was well supplied with utensils and pans. The park was well maintained and the decor of the cabin was modern and pleasant."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Edge House. It has all the comforts of home. The views of the surrounding area, hummingbirds, and deer were beautiful to see. We enjoyed the close proximity to Petit Jean State Park to do all the hikes and park programs. The sunset Kayak tour was one of our favorites. We met some really nice people at the Honey Farm, Outpost and Coffee Shop. We highly recommend staying here and checking out all the things to do in the area."

"We were a group of six adults on our annual motorcycle trip. This house served all of our needs separate bedrooms the 2 1/2 baths were great. Location was beautiful with lake Dardenelle in the backyard. There was extra toilet paper and paper towels. There was laundry soap provided, and dryer sheets. Plenty of towels. Icemaker was awesome. The only thing keeping me from giving it a five star overall was just a few up keeps the drawer in the refrigerator was broken. The dishwasher soap latch...

"Me and my wife were looking for a nice weekend getaway. And found Gwen and Bear’s Cabin listed. The Cabin is right down the mountain from Petit Jean State Park. Which was exactly what we were looking for! The privacy of the cabin and the woods and small stream next to the cabin were also great! All around was an awesome experience and we will definitely be booking again!"

"I booked this place as a surprise anniversary get away. We loved our stay here. We enjoyed staying in watching The Lord of the Rings right next to the beautiful hobbit door! We also enjoyed venturing out to some great State Parks: Less than 10 minutes from Lake Dardanelle and about 45 min from Petit Jean. The Hobbit House also seemed like it would be a great getaway for a family or friends who love Tolkien. Kitchen is great if you want to cook your own meals and the couches and bed are comfy....
