„We stayed for one night at the Central Heritage in Darjeeling, our last night before returning to Germany. For the price, we expected better. The room was very dirty, especially the bathroom. Breakfast was very stale and not tasty. Staff was very inefficient. This would all be OK if it was a budget priced hotel but at the price we paid we definetely were dissapointed. If you are budgeting for a 3-4 star hotel stay somewhere else.“

The TV was not working. The water supply is a trickle and ice-cold....after many complaints the trickle turned warm, so you could fill 1 bucket per hour. The building is crumbling and in dire need of repairs.Cockroaches were roaming freely and the mattress was lumpy, smelly, damp and impossible to sleep ...

„This hotel does not have bad amenities but a terribly reluctant management. Basically, the answer was 'no, sorry we cannot' to every request. We even had to insist and fight to have laundered sheets put on our beds as the bed we were given had unwashed, stained sheets. It did have a nice rooftop deck with a wonderful mountain view. Also the lobby was quite nice even if extremely cold; we asked that the fireplaces be turned on, to which they said 'no' so we could not really hang out there. I ...
