Bei seiner Fertigstellung im Jahr 2006 wurde die Bear Ridge Lodge für über 2,5 Millionen Dollar bewertet. Eingebettet in die schöne North Georgia Mountains, ist die Heimat nur zwei Meilen von der spektakulären Amicalola Falls, befindet sich die größte Wasser fällt östlich des Mississippi und Kaskaden 729 '. Diese 7.000 Quadratmeter große Luxus-Hütte auf 25 Hektar abgelegenen Wäldern ist der ultimative Ort für Ihren nächsten Familienurlaub, Firmenfeier oder romantische Flucht. Dieses Haus wurde 2006 erbaut und ist die perfekte Mischung von Rustic Mountain Wohn mit der neuesten Luxus-Komfort. Diese Lodge hat alles von einem voll ausgestatteten See mit Bass und Brassen (Catch & Release Only), Baumhaus, Kanu, Tretboot, Wanderwege, WIFI offenen Breitband-Internet, einem Championship-Billardtisch und einem 73 "HD-TV mit Satellit.

Die Lodge verfügt über 5 geräumige Schlafzimmer mit 4 1/2 Bäder. Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über eine Wellnessdusche mit 6 Massageduschen und die Lodge verfügt über eine Infrarotsauna mit Platz für vier Personen. In allen gibt es 4 Kingsize-Betten, 1 Queen-Schlafsofa, 3 Rollstühle mit zwei Matratzen und 2 aufblasbare Königin Luftmatratzen. Die Lodge verfügt auch über eine tragbare "Pack and Play" Krippe zur Verfügung.
Es gibt eine 7 Personen Hot Tub auf der Terrasse vor dem Schlafzimmer für Ihren Genuss.
Das große Zimmer verfügt über mehr als 20 Meter hohen Decken mit sichtbaren Holzbalken, einem 53 "Kamin und einen herrlichen Blick auf die Wasserfälle. Die Gourmet-Küche hat viel Arbeitsfläche und 20 Personen Platz finden.

Um Ihren Aufenthalt noch spezieller zu machen, gibt es überdachte Decks, die sich um die Vorderseite des Hauses mit fantastischem Blick auf die Wasserfälle und einen Feuerring umgeben, um diese wundervollen Nächte zu genießen. Wir schließen Lagerfeuer bei Ihrem Besuch ohne zusätzliche Kosten ein.

Wir bieten eine "Piraten Schatzsuche" für die Kinder, die fabelhaft ist. Sie laufen über die 25 Morgen hinweg und lösen Hinweise, wo der Schatz vergraben ist. Sie lieben es!

Bear Ridge Lodge
Our family of nine had an amazing time at Bear Ridge Lodge. Randy and Becky were welcoming and accommodating in every way. Our kids and grandkids loved walking the goats wirh Randy as well as being with the ducks and chickens. They also enjoyed the paddle boat and kayak. The king size beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We also had an unlimited supply of firewood for the wonderful fireplace which was especially appreciated by Nana.

Christmas Trip
Our group (17 total) stayed there during Christmas week. The cabin had everything we needed and it was exactly like the pictures. We used the fire pit for smores and the hot tub. The owner was very nice and helpful. He gave us a tour and explained everything during check in. Check out was easy. The property is secluded, which we loved because it was quiet. We loved it and would definitely return.

Beautiful home
We stayed here with friends and family for our fall break! Excellent location with all the amenities! Home is clean and beds are super comfy! Excellent water pressure in the showers! Hot tub was clean, fish pond was fully stocked and my son caught 50 fish (catch and release) in 3 days. Managing owners live on property and are friendly and accommodating.

Girls Trip 2024
We had a wonderful time. The home is beautiful and Randy & Becky are great hosts. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and some enjoyed kayaking and the peddle boat. We held the newborn baby goats and petted Wilbur the pig. Little Molly and Cooper are so cute. The scenery is so relaxing and we got an exciting tour of the property!

Don't hesistate...Just book it now!
Every year my family tries to plan and take one vacation to include all of us. It's myself, my wife, my six children (including one son-in-law), and 2 grandchildren so planning starts early as we all have work schedules to coordinate (except the grandchildren of course). And the venue we select has to give us options. While we are family, we are all a little different. Well Randy and Becky's wonderful property was perfect! I could have stayed on the property the entire trip...just fishing in the stocked pond, enjoying the wildlife, and the incredible views! But there is so much to do in the area, Amicalola Falls State Park was awesome, the Big Foot museum was neat, the gold mine tour was incredible, and downtown Dahlonega was just delightful. The house was more than enough space for 10, and was just beautiful. We also played a couple of disc golf courses in the area that were somewhat challenging but alot of fun. This is a great place to stay, so don't think about it anymore. Just book it. I 'll be back....I'm not sure when yet, but hopefully soon. Thank you Randy and Becky, and say hey to Wibur for me.

Goats, Ducks, Bears, Chickens, a Pig, and Randy and Becky
We rent a house to vacation in each summer for our family which is currently 8 kids and 8 adults ages 8 to 69. In the last 30 years we've stayed in many houses in many parts of the country and Bear Ridge Lodge is the most idyllic. You truly can't beat the view. The kids loved the lake; even the teenagers were happy. Since there aren't any neighbors the kids could yell and scream as loud as they wanted while swimming, boating, and fishing. The animals were a huge hit. The kids wanted to be at the house each day when it was time to walk the goats and the pig, who was a new addition. We were pleased to find that there was plenty to do in the area. The house itself is beautiful and set up well for a large group. There are plenty of places to sleep, plenty of bathrooms, and the living area is a great layout for cooking, eating, playing games, and watching movies with cousins. Last and certainly not least, Randy and Becky are excellent hosts. We wanted for nothing, they went out of their way to make us feel at home, and are more than happy to share their property, home, and animals with their guests. We left vacation with 2 new friends. A highlight was the last night we were there Randy came and got us and pointed out a bear feeding across the lake on a plum tree. I have more great things to say, but I keep exceeding VRBO's character limit so I went back and deleted stuff so that I could tell you to just go ahead and book a stay here.

Great getaway with friends and family
We had a wonderful time at the cabin! Randy and Becky were amazing hosts, always asking if there was anything else we needed or what they can do to make it more enjoyable. We wanted a place with beautiful views and a cozy atmosphere to enjoy time with friends and family and this property was exactly that. The property even exceeded our expectations. Exceptional stay at Bear Ridge Lodge
Our family had a great time staying at Randy and Becky’s lodge. They were great and responsive to anything we needed. They allowed our kids to feed the goats, ducks, chickens, and rabbits. Our kids, especially my older son, learned a lot when we stayed at the lodge on New Years Day. I wanted to respond to another review regarding the road to the lodge, it was one lane (gravel, dirt, paved), but there were not many homes on the road and we never met another vehicle coming or going from the property. The view of the lake and falls from the lodge were absolutely beautiful. Love staying here and hated that we had to leave. We hope to stay here again and would definitely recommend.

One of a kind
Our large extended family fit very comfortably in the home. The home was stocked with everything we could possibly need or use. We enjoyed the outdoor activities including fishing, kayaking, and watching the hummingbirds from the back porch. Post and Beam Log Home in the Georgia Mountains
This big gorgeous home is at the end of a mountain trail and boasts large spacious bedrooms, a huge, well-appointed kitchen, a wraparound porch, and terrific temperature control. It truly is as beautiful as the images portray. We hosted a family reunion for 25 people across two properties (only 15 folks stayed at the lodge). The home had lots of space for small groups to reconnect. We got plenty of laughs from the rocky, single lane approach road to the house, but most of us had rented SUVs so everyone enjoyed the adventure! We also brought all the food we needed and didn't plan for anyone to head out and grab meals. Truly--it was a lovely space.

Great Stay at Bear Ridge
What an amazing property. This home is huge, the living areas and kitchen were amazing. We loved all the space. Easily fit the 13 of us. Bedrooms we’re comfortable. We enjoyed the pool table and the large table downstairs to play games on. The fishing and lake added to the fun. One of the highlights was Charlie the baby goat. Overall the home is well cared for. The drive in is a little rough and has some steep parts but that is to be expected in a mountain cabin. Plenty of parking area.

Goat Mansion
Our family of 17 stayed 5 days in July. The house was perfect! It was open, clean, and had plenty of things for everyone of all ages to do. We loved feeding Charlie (the baby goat), fishing, boating in the lake, and watching all the humming birds. Would definaly recommend this great home away from home to others.

First Full Family Getaway
This was a wonderful location for our first ever family vacation with small grandchildren, and our adult children and spouses. Randy was hospitable and always ready to help in any way possible.

Great time with Family Celebrating Birthday
This was a great weekend! Randy and Becky Harris (Property Owners) were awesome, attentive and made sure our entire family had everything we needed to enjoy the weekend. The Bear Ridge lodge has everything... Lake for swimming, fishing, goats, chickens and rabbits that the children enjoyed everyday. Randy made was gracious enough to arrange runs into town, picking up food, groceries etc. By the time we left, we all made a new friend in Randy and Becky.. What a great weekend. Highly recommend a stay at Bear Ridge Lodge!

mountain paradise
have stayed in many VRBOs . This was the best. Randy and Becky Harris are the greatest, Would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great vacation. House was stocked with everything needed and if not Randy will get it for you. Left feeling like I added to my family and will definitely come back.

Excellent hosts
Are experience was exceptional! Randy and his wife were so helpful with all our questions and very welcoming! They became like part of the family. Randy is hilarious and full of knowledge and stories. They both showed us the farm and let us fed some of the animals, it was really cool and the place is absolutely beautiful!

The Last Senior Hurrahhh!
All I have to say is that this was the PERFECT place for us to take our group of 16 to stay for their senior year trip. Everything about it was exactly as described, and the service and host interaction was very helpful. Randy called multiple times to check and see if we needed anything when he went into town, etc. We didn't feel like a bother at all and they were incredibly accommodating. It was overall so beautiful, peaceful, fun, and amazing!
