Stay was okay
We checked in at 2 am on Saturday night. The security was of great help. Parking for our car with a rooftop carrier was not available and we had to make use of another parking lot paying 30.00 per day! The unit was roomy and neat. There were a couple of things broken e.g. lights that was not working, however, the unit was clean, had ample towels, even beach towels, and facecloths. They also have shampoo, conditioner and body wash and a hairdryer which was a plus point for me not to travel with all those items all the way from Canada. For check in - no verbal info had been provided as to what amenities there were. The entrance to the beach took me quite a while to figure out but once done, it is close by with a nice path to stroll along the beach. It was rainy and cloudy when we were there, but it was still nice to be able to go to the sea.

The staff was very helpful, friendly and did the best job they could considering how many of the guests ignore the rules. The condo was clean and comfortable but could use a Kcup machine and towel racks at the bathroom vanity. Facility is family friendly but next time we may look for all inclusive adult facility.

Perfect for large groups
We had 10 families stay for spring break here. The location is perfect for a large group. The rooms are large, the beach and pools are great. There are lots shops and restaurants very close by. I highly recommend!!

Will book again!
Property is centrally located to all activities in Daytona. Close enough to the track and a beautiful view of the beach. The staff was accommodating and knowledgeable. Paul our bell hop was friendly and attentive and has been with the property for over twenty years. We will definitely book again!

This place was everything I expected and more.
I will start with saying I had read many reviews about ocean walk and some were not so favorable. I chose to go anyway due to all the photos of the facility amenities. I have not great expectations going into it but was willing to try. So we arrived 1 day early and our place was not avail so I booked a last min condo at ocean walk that was avail for 1 night. Now I understand why some reviews are not as good There is a moth and south side 1 is actually owned not by Marriott but shares all the amenities. This side is not as updated the hallways in desperate need of new paint and flooring. The condo was not horrible but we were only there to sleep check out and back into the next place (for 1 week). The other side is owned by Marriott and is beautiful updated and they really cater to you. Nevertheless everything was opened and amenities are amazing pools are all clean Maintenance ppl were all working continuously to keep things cleaned. The BEACH was incredible right on the property with chairs and umbrellas to rent. We will be returning next year. To the MARIOTT SIDE. The condo itself was gorgeous with lots of room We had 6 ppl and there was ample room. My only bad thing was due to the location of this particular condo it was slightly noisy from the road on Saturday night. All the other days were fine. It has a beautiful wrap around deck with 3 door walls that walk out to it. It has a beautiful view but there is a main road with bit of noise.

Will Stay Again
The overall impression of the property was great, but be prepared for false statements when it comes to parking an extra vehicle. I did not know the extra vehicle was going to be parked across the street a block down from our room in a public parking garage. To get out of the public parking garage was a nightmare. person I was in contact with for our room told me the cost per day for the extra vehicle She told me the incorrect rate. The correct rate was higher. Getting out of the One of the days it took my son and his family 15 mins to get out of the parking garage. There was never an attendee there to let them out of the garage. You called a number that was staffed supposedly 24 hrs. to let you out. On this day no one answered and a supervisor finally came and let them out.

Family Trip
The check in process for this facility was awful. We arrived after 6 pm to chaos, lines were lone with plenty of unhappy people. They stated our room wasn't ready with 5 kids in tow we were exhausted after a 10 hr ride. They switched us rooms and finally got us in. My bff was in another room and they couldn't find her reservation for approx 2 hours. My sister had the same experience with inaccurate rooms flat out being lied to about her type of room which she paid more for. This was a common voice of concern from other people throughout our stay.

Great stay
We enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and more than enough room for 4 adults and 2 kids. Good choices around the restaurant were not great and all had really long waits, but the hotel/pool/amenities were excellent.

Nice location and relaxing-cleaning could use some attention.
This property was a good getaway for our family. The only con for the whole stay would be the cleanliness of the property should be taken more seriously. The floors were still filthy, coffee pot was not cleaned and one of the two beds in the second bedroom had some nasty looking stains on the duvet. There was dust collected all over the door to the furnace/water heater. The shower smelled of mildew and had a severely crooked door. The kitchen cabinets were also pretty filthy. Aside from cleaning issues the location was fabulous and comfortable, giving you a great "home" feel away from home.
