Secluded Lake Cottage in Northern Wisconsin

This is a nicely updated cottage with no neighbors right out your door. The cottage is on a small, quiet, no-motor lake. We have a rowboat and paddle boat for your use and two outside fire pits. Unfortunately, we do not have a sandy beach area for swimming. We have a nice screened in front porch to relax and watch the day go by.
~You must take any garbage and recyclables with you when you check out.
~We understand the enjoyment of vacationing with furry family members, but due to an extreme number of incidents this past year, unfortunately we can no longer accept pets.

Anniversary getaway
It was very relaxing. The house and property were clean, well kept and great location for a little fishing and watching wildlife. The county highway was little noisy at times but overall we couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Peaceful stay
Well maintained and clean cabin located off the road on a small peninsula. You wouldn't know you were on a county road. Perfect getaway weekend for my wife, 2 dogs and I. Small no motor lake. 2 small boats and a dock available. We didn't fish but there were plenty jumping. Outside fire pits were nice and convenient. Inside gas fireplace was a favorite for the wife for the cool evenings. With the exception of towels (as advertised) everything we needed was available. Utensils, coffee machine (even filters), ice, charcoal grill, etc. Owner answered our few questions promptly. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Peaceful and relaxing
We had a great time at this cabin! It was very clean and comfortable. The weather was mostly cool and overcast but we still managed to explore Jack Lake Recreation area three days in a row— hiking, biking and fishing. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake there at the cabin. My husband even caught a few pan fish on the lake. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us . We enjoyed ourselves.

Northern WI Tranquility
This place was exactly what my husband and I were looking for in terms of a cabin get-away. It is as listed, clean, comfortable, and communication with the owner was easy with quick response time. The lake was perfect for our SUP and we were able to see lots of aquatic wildlife including birds, turtles, frogs, fish, etc. We even got to see a loon a couple times. We loved how quiet it was and the screened-in porch was a huge bonus!!! We would stay here again!

Quiet weekend away
Clean, quiet, mostly secluded with very few neighbors. No A/C but we brought our own fans plus they had ceiling fans in each bedroom and living room. We were able to open windows to cool it down, unless there was rain. The screened in porch definitely makes the property. You can sit and enjoy a thunderstorm or escape the heat of the day. A lot of nature to look at. We saw turtles and a loon, we caught two bass from the bank. Nice private firepit set up. We brought our kayaks and explored the large but not too overwhelming lake the property sits on. Being on a peninsula makes it all the better. The GPS had trouble finding the address but communication with the owner was fast and was easy to find once we were on the road.

Great get away
Nice home with all the amenities in a great setting. Very quiet, and comfortable. Beds could be updated. Outside was perfect for family, with paddle boat, and could teach children to fish. Screen porch was an added bonus to sit back and enjoy nature.

We stayed here over New Years to snowmobile. Extremely close to trails, easy driveway for managing trailer, privacy. Place is extremely clean and very modern. Would stay again.

So peaceful
I was looking for a private, quiet and peaceful place on a lake and this place turned out to be absolutely perfect. Located on kind of a small peninsula, this property almost gives you the feel of having your own private island. Can’t say how much I enjoyed the peace and quiet. If there were other people on this lake, I never saw or heard any of them. Cabin was great inside with all the comforts of home. Looking forward to returning in 2023 for a little longer stay this time.

This lovely cottage home is comfortable and well-equipped. It sits on a point of land, so it has a lot more lakefront than we expected. We enjoyed the screened in porch during the day and the fireplace in the evening. We'd definitely stay here again.

PERFECT
This was a perfect peaceful week. The cabin has the most beautiful water views and is so very quiet. Our two dogs had the greatest time playing in the water and the yard was perfect for zoomies! If you do bring dogs bring towels and you will need to clean their feet as the banks are muddy. The cabin was so clean and has everything you could need in the kitchen. We highly recommend this cabin!

Glorious property on water
Brad's is cabin is gorgeous with water on both sides and lovely landscaping. We hiked the nearby Ice Age Trail in the mornings and enjoyed the water frontage and screened in proch after. The bed was super comfy. Just what we needed and wanted! Thank you.

Great getaway
My family and I really enjoyed our time at the cottage. We stayed for 4 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. The weather wasn't cooperative and it was cloudy and raining for a lot of our trip, but we still enjoyed sitting out in the screened in porch watching the rain and eating popcorn. We also got to use the fireplace which was very nice when it got chilly. It's very private. Just a few neighbors across the lake. The property is beautiful and there's even a little trail in the woods. Lots of frogs and different birds. The kitchen has everything you need to make meals and the shower is nice and hot. The laundry facilities are a nice touch and very handy. We loved staying here and having some good family time.
