I called the hotel two days before my flight to arrange a pickup. I spent 12 minutes on the phone with the receptionist, who assured me the pickup was arranged and that I didn’t need to worry. However, when I arrived at the airport, no one was there to pick me up. This was extremely stressful, especially as a female traveler standing alone for 45 minutes trying to find help. Thankfully, Expedia’s agent was very supportive and helped me resolve the situation, which I deeply appreciate. However, the hotel failed to send someone to pick me up as promised and seemed unconcerned about their mistake. Eventually, someone arrived to pick me up after 45 minutes.
Additionally, I had to repeatedly ask for bottled water during my stay—sometimes two or three times before I could get it. The cleanliness of the hotel was also very disappointing. It was not clean at all, and I have photos to prove it. Upon arriving, I immediately had to request new bed sheets because it was clear the sheets hadn’t been changed from the previous guest.
