Stay in an off-grid cabin and retreat in Maine's Western mountains & lakes region.Complete with wi-fi and solar-powered electricity, this cabin may serve as a great space for finishing that project, book, or research that you feel called to do.
Harmony Cabin is the only cabin on the property that is pet friendly. Please be sure to inquire before bringing your dog, however.
Harmony Cabin has solar-powered electricity and wi-fi. Although we invite our guests to take advantage of an opportunity to unplug from electronics, wi-fi allows you the option to bring your laptop to plug in for a special project you may be working on.
There is no running water at your cabin; however, we do supply you with jugs of pure mountain water, and a compost toilet nearby. There is not a bathroom in the cabin. There is a warm shower at the top of the access road, where you can refill your jugs for drinking, cooking and dishes. This is about a 7 minute hike. Seasonal open-air shower and sink right next door.
We provide the cabin with a 2-burner propane stove for your simple cooking along with all the dishes, utensils, pots/pans, etc. You heat your cabin by wood stove for your tending and we provide ample wood for your stay. This cabin is family friendly, too. Kids thrive here! Kids 8 and under are free and please let us know how many are in your group so we can set up the space accordingly.
IMPORTANT NOTES: You need to provide your own bedding/linens/towels and pillow and we recommend a 20 degree F. rated mummy sleeping bags in fall, winter and early spring.
Mosquito and black fly conditions vary. Peak exposure is between Mother's Day and Father's Day. Dress in light colored and loose clothing and bring your own favorite repellent.

We feel very remote and rural yet are accessible to nearby villages and towns for your sundries, ice, supplies, groceries, farmers markets, dining and the like.
What we love most about this part of the world is that the landscape, waterways, and mountains are so incredibly beautiful (stunning, really). And amidst the beauty, culture thrives, through art, music, dining and a warm, friendly, safe community of people surrounding this place, making it a getaway that feels like home.
We are grateful we get to share it and call it home, too.
We are part of Maine's Greater Bridgton Lakes Region and the Mount Washington Valley in nearby Conway, New Hampshire, offering a high quality of life, with endless possibilities as a recreational haven.
