„This property is unbelievable for it's location, charm, comfort, and owner. I have stayed at many VRBO properties and this is, hands down, the best one I have stayed at. With a lighthouse and beach within walking distance, and overlooking a working harbor across the street, it is absolutely the ideal for experiencing the best of this area of Nova Scotia. „OMG this home was such a stunner! We arrived after dark because of the ferry ride, but when we arrived, the house had subdued lighting, relaxing music and some essential oils going. We both walked in and said "Wow, Oh my god"! And it was still dark, so we couldn't see the view, but we could hear it. „We travel as a group of 8 ( 4 brothers and their wives ) for golfing every year and decided we wanted to stay in digby. We stayed at this property and it was perfect for us. There wss actually 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms so everyone had their own space . The patio was large and plenty of chairs. The kitchen had everything we needed . We had a great time here.“

„Ruthanne and Sheridan were wonderful host. They were kind enough to meet us at the ferry and drive us to their home. The house was warm and comfortable, and we felt like we were at home. Everything was spotlessly clean. Beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had all new appliances along with the washer and dryer. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly would recommend it to anyone. “

„Our flight was delayed, so we arrived very late at 3 am, while we had trouble finding our lodging the owner came to help us. The next morning we got a full breakfast and his son showed us the lake and helped us with using their sauna. Simple marvelous, thanks again we had a great time.“

„The surrounding area was scary. Inside cabin was fine accept the step up into the living bedroom space was dangerous. Curtains were needed in the kitchen area. Accessiblity would be an issue for some. Really hard to contact owners and find the cabin. Would not recommend!!“

„Terrific time in Kemptville, NS at this accommodation - Moose Cabin - Golden Forest Lodge. I recently had a three day vacation there with my 14 year old Son and his Father. „Compact, many small amenities that make a great stay even better. Everything is clean and high quality. Bryan was attentive and made sure we were settled and comfortable. We had the best stay, we can't wait to come back. The stairs to the upstairs bedroom are steep and could be challenging for arthritic knees.
