Timber Run 119 by Mountain Vacation Lodging is a well appointed and affordable condo that is ideal for two couples or small families. With new furnishings and decor in fall 2021, this condo is comfortable and stylish. It has great quality finishes as well, with hardwood floors and granite counters. Guests who stay here will also enjoy a condo with good quality, an abundance of on-site amenities, and a convenient mountain village location that includes a private shuttle service in ski season. Please read on for more details.

The Property:
The condo is laid out on one level. You enter into a large open space that includes the living room, kitchen, and dining area. Right by the door, there's also a space with with coat racks, storage cubbies, and benches where you can sit down and remove your ski boots. One of the benches offers additional storage, an indication of the forward thinking approach the owner has taken in the condo. The living room has very comfy new leather furniture surrounding a large HDTV and warm gas fireplace. A sliding glass door offers you direct access to a covered patio with furniture and festive lighting. The dining table seats 6 and works well for board games or laptops. The kitchen has a large counter and bar with seating for 3. It is fully equipped with everything your chef will need to prepare meals and feed your group. Bedroom 1 is a suite which includes a King bed, ceiling fan, HDTV, private bathroom, and a good sized closet. Bedroom 2 has a Queen bed, another large closet, and a full bathroom right across the hall.

It is worth noting that most condos in Steamboat Springs do not include AC. This is a lower level condo, with tall, mature trees to the south which offer shade. As a result, this condo stays cooler than most others even during the hot parts of summer. Don't worry, when it's cool or cold at night, and for guests visiting in colder seasons, you will have no problem keeping it cozy and warm, thanks to the gas fireplace and baseboard heat.

Location:
Timber Run is located 1/2 mile from the center of the Steamboat Ski Resort. In ski season, a complimentary private shuttle is available to give you a ride to and from the slopes. During the day, it loops back and forth to and from Gondola Square, the heart of the mountain village. From there, you can easily walk throughout the mountain village, or hop on the free city bus for a ride anywhere in town. The distance to the slopes is walkable for many, and outside of ski season, can be quite pleasant. From this condo, just head outside, turn right, and cross Walton Creek Road to the Mountain Sneak trail, a paved and plowed sidewalk which meanders in between developments and leads directly to Gondola Square. Ski season guests who prefer the walk to the shuttle may consider storing skis and boots in Gondola Square, to make the walk easier. If you rent skis or boards, they'll offer free overnight storage, and we offer discounted rental rates from multiple rental locations in the Gondola Square area. Parking at the ski area is free, but the walk is faster. If anyone in your group is not skiing, driving to drop people off would take only about 2 minutes.

Arrival, Access, and Parking:
Once you book, we're here to support you. We offer professional concierge services, provide you with arrival instructions and answers to any specific questions you might have. When you arrive, you'll check in at the on site front desk. Accessing the unit does require some stairs. You can walk from the building's side parking area down the sidewalk and up just a couple of steps, or you can walk from the front parking area down one flight of steps. All parking at Timber Run is an outdoor lot. Parking is provided for up to two vehicles. The spaces are not assigned or reserved, and there is usually more than enough space for everyone. Please note, trailers are not allowed, per HOA guidelines. If you plan to bring one, there are options for parking them nearby. Contact us for details.

** Air Conditioning - Most mountain resort properties were not built with air conditioning. During most hours of the day and weeks of the year, AC is not needed. Summer nights are cool and fans are provided at most properties. Check the average high and low temperatures and weather forecast for your dates of travel, and look at the list of amenities to see if AC or fans are part of the rental property and look for ceiling fans in photos.
** Group Sizes, High Occupancy Fees, & Maximum Occupancy - Some properties use a “High Occupancy Fee” to “raise the rate” for larger groups, and are thus able to list a lower nightly rate for smaller groups. Each rental agreement and associated rates are for a specific group size. Guests must enter the correct and maximum group size at the time of booking. The agreement requires a guest to confirm the group size and subsequently, to disclose any changes to the planned group size, which may result in an increase, or decrease, to the total cost, and may result in a security deposit becoming required.

Smaller than we thought. It is down two flights from the parking lot. Patio was very small. Unit had all necessities and more. Internet was out for 36 hours. We notified the office immediately but had no TV and cellular was so weak we could not get on internet. Checkout requirements were over the top!!! By 10:00 checkout, we had to remove all bedding and separate into two piles - one for sheets and pillowcases, another for blankets, etc. We had to collect all towels from the bathrooms, kitchen and from the pool and put in one bathroom. We had to wash and put away the dishes, remove all food and refrigerator items and take out all the trash from kitchen and bathrooms. The trash is up the stairs. Location is conveniently located, the pool and hot tub are very nice. The sauna is very small. Unit is very nicely decorated and had all amenities.

Property so efficient and well done with everything you need. Stayed cool without AC. Pool,spa,tennis court and grill area so accommodating. Very convenient to ski area and downtown and recreation around the area The common grounds of the building housing this property could us some landscape making it as attractive as those surrounding pool area. It maybe some plumbing work was being done. The patio was big enough and offered a place to sit outside. Add landscape would up the experience Also note it is easier to bring in/out your luggage from back sliding door otherwise carrying up flight of stairs A little ramp to back cement trail would be nice for this purpose

Felt Like Home
This condo was well-furnished and well-equipped. It had everything we needed to make us feel "at home." It was spotless. The linens and towels were clean as well as everything in the kitchen. I didn't feel the need to rewash the dishes, glasses and utensils before I used them. The pool was heated and the hot tubs were just right-not too hot. Without traffic, it's a 10 minute drive to downtown Steamboat Springs. It's a quiet complex and we felt safe and comfortable there. I would definitely stay there again.

Excellent Condo
The property was an excellent location for skiing! The condo was well decorated and had everything we needed to cook, relax (including many blankets, fans, humidifiers), and enjoy our vacation. The only problem we had was slow response from the property manager when the door pin wouldn’t work and the fireplace wouldn’t light. Sent multiple texts and made multiple calls to get assistance. Everything else was top notch perfection!

Cozy ski condo with a private shuttle
We enjoyed our stay in this cozy well appointed condo. It is about a 10 minute walk to the Steamboat base area but we mostly chose to ride the private shuttle. It was a nice size for our family of 5, consisting of my wife and I as well as our 3 young adult kids. The was a problem with the digital front door lock which was repaired quickly. We would rent again.

This little condo was very clean and very well appointed. We really appreciated that there are plenty of hooks and cubbies, towels and blankets, and everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. The management team is very attentive and was easy to reach when we had difficulty with our entry code. This condo deserves 5 stars on its own but the 4 stars overall is because the noisy upstairs neighbors were relentless, at all hours. Nothing you can do about that. They must've left the day before we did because we finally got some peace and quiet Sunday night and Monday morning.

Perfect location!
This is our second time at Timber Run, first time in this unit. The location is perfect to the village, walkable or free shuttle (huge bonus!). The unit was clean, good size for a family of 4 and well stocked. We enjoyed the heated pool/hot tub after the slopes and enjoyed the walkout patio for the kids to play in the snow outside the unit. We would stay again!

Good condo for a long weekend stay
Good condo - location, clean, easy check-in and accurate as listed. Great for a few nights stay. A few things to note - you could hear upstairs neighbors walking around, there is a flight of stairs down to the condo, and I took one star away from communication with property manager as we were bringing a service animal and the management company asked a lot of questions before accommodating this request.

This property gets 5 stars from the whole family! 1. Very quick and convenient shuttle to Steamboat 2. Everything was great with the condo for a family of 5 3. We booked this unit very last minute for a mountain weekend get away and couldn’t have been happier with where we got to stay. The location was great, it was easy to communicate with the renters, and the unit was so clean and cozy. We enjoyed the pool area with our 3 year old and even saw some bears walking by our unit. They had games available and the little touches, such as a sound machine in each bedroom and a Britta water filter in the fridge were the perfect touches. I would rent this unit 1,000 times over again. It was the perfect stay!

Loved this property for our getaway! The kitchen was so well stocked with pots/pans all the way down to a garlic press, which made it easy to make a Thanksgiving meal. The icing on the cake was the hot tub and heated pool which was a nice way for our kids to spend part of the day! Definitely will rebook!
