HOSTLERS COTTAGE
Hostlers cottage is set within the curtilage of the listed farmhouse and so has been designed in a sympathetic manner, retaining original oak beams and with the introduction of new hand-crafted solid oak joinery features, some from wood sourced on site. As a purpose-built conversion of original farm buildings Hostlers has everything one would wish to find in a holiday home-from-home. As well as a well-appointed kitchen area there is a separate utility area with washing machine and dish washer, and the bathroom has the pampering features of a drench shower and a whirlpool bath with oodles of piping hot water. There are TVs with DVD players in both lounge and bedroom, and a small, enclosed garden with dog proof fencing and BBQ, patio, table and chairs. Additionally, there is a covered BBQ area adjoining the cottage, ample parking and uniquely a decking area set in the middle of one of the lakes where one can soak up the raise or watch the sunset with a gin and tonic to hand.
A track at the back of the lakes leads onto a drove heading off in different directions across the countryside, beautiful walks and perfect for dogs.
The high-ceilinged open plan design of the cottage gives the living area a spacious airy feel whilst at the same time there is a cosy comforting feel to this little gem of a country hideaway, ideal for romantic evenings for two away from the hubbub of modern life.
