Motel 6, Druid Hills

"The hotel is very conveniently located in the downtown and hotel district of Atlanta and is a good starting point to get an impression of the city. A number of sights are very close by. Despite the age of the building, the impressive atrium architecture is impressive. The room was cosy and quiet, the staff and service extremely friendly and helpful. I found the breakfast in the somewhat separate ‘Sway’ restaurant very cosy. A little more attention should perhaps be paid to the functional condition of the rooms. The towel rail in the bathroom was loose and the room safe did not work. I spent three nights at the hotel as a holidaymaker and would definitely recommend it."

"Komplizierter und langsamer Vorgang beim Einchecken obschon am Vortag elekronisches Prechecking gemacht wurde. Gang auf unserem Stockwerk wurde tagelang nicht gereinigt. Gepäck auf Zimmer bringen dauerte 1 1/2 Stunden und musste gemahnt werden. Housekeeping im Zimmer wurde, obschon vereinbart und gemahnt, währen unseres Aufenthaltes nie gemacht. Generell ist das Hotel sehr in die Jahre gekommen und wirkt (für diese Preisklasse abgenutzt). Wir waren Ende vor rund 30 Jahren 2 Mal im Peachtree und können es deshalb verlässlich beurteilen. Schade auch, dass dss Drehrestaurant nicht mehr funktioniert. Positiv: Die hervorragende Lage für Besichtigungen, das Frühstück, das Essen mit Aussicht im Restaurant. Während unseres Aufenthaltes gab es Downtown einen mehrtägigen Wasserausfall. Die Info des Hotels war sehr zeitnah, es wurde Gratis Wasser in Flaschen abgegeben und man hatte die Wahl ohne Kostenfolge zu stornieren - alles sehr kundenfreundlich."
