The boat house was being renovated, so they offered to put me in Yhe Pelican house. It was a tiny home, with a short small loft for a bedroom which had a ladder to access the bed. I couldn’t climb the ladder. I tried to rest on the futon. It was to hard. No Tv, games, not even a radio, no cell service. The place was clean as was the land scape. They refunded my cost. „This unit was perfect for my stay in Alexandria. I was visiting my Dad in the hospital nearby and this unit had everything I needed. It rained while I was there and that made this unit a bright spot to land each day. The washer/dryer were perfect for the small loads I needed during my stay. „It’s close to the hospital I was working at on night shift. It’s an older property. Quiet neighborhood. I only slept and worked so it was good for me. If you plan on cooking I’d suggest bringing your own pans. The communication was excellent. It worked good for me. “

„This home was beyond filthy with stained sheets, stained shower, maggots , mildew and mold. The smell inside could possibly be interior mold. We didnt even stay after seeing it upon check in. The owner refused to refund our money and stopped responding to my messages and claimed he was working with VRBO but has kept ALL of our funds. We work with the local military base and were there for work but this place is beyond anything i have ever seen. If i could post pictures i would.“
