(1) There was no communication. We received a notice that checking started at 4pm, but when we arrived we found that the office CLOSES at 4pm We didn't know what to do so we called customer service to walk us through it. We should have received instructions in advance.
(Customer service was very nice)
(2) Everyone's key is in the same lockbox with appt numbers on them. Which means everyone with access to the box has access to get (copy) everyone else's keys. In addition, I had to fill something out and put it back in the box - which means everyone with access to the box had access to that. Security was totally unacceptable!!
(3) The condo is very cute but desperately needs remodeling, especially the bathrooms. Toilets remind me of what was in the grandmother's house - from the 1940's.
(4) Twin beds both need to be replaced. I'm still dealing with pain from sleeping in one of them.
(5) Everything looked very clean, but the whole place had an air of oldness and mustiness about it.
We had also reserved a condo for our return trip. The beds were so bad, that we forfeited what we had paid to reserve a condo for the return trip and got hotel rooms. I'm still dealing with pain from sleeping in that bed.
I've never given a low rating for anywhere that I stayed before.
